What oil do you use for your Yong Zheng?

I use to swear by the cheap Iso 46 oil, until I discovered actual evidence of it detonating in the high pressure cylinder. Now I use Seco amzn.to/3JgMfKu. Its not cheap, but is MUCH better and lasts a LOT longer. If your unit is already wet with oil, I would recommend a thorough disassembly and cleaning before changing to a synthetic as oil base compatibility can be tricky.

Really? Compared to what? To my deaf ear it doesn't sound any different then my 3 year old clone. Maybe its an artifact of the microphone?

Maybe Schlomo doesn't like elevator Jazz?

@@TargetForge lmao sorry i realize my comment wasn't helpful, now. at around 9:20 when you start it there's a rattle. when you move to the other side at around 9:40 it's muffled. leading me to believe the rattle is coming from front of where u started at 9:20. have you thought about wrapping the small stainless tubes with a piece of paralell water tubing and then wraping copper wire around them both to keep the plastic tubing against the stainless steel tubing to act as a heat sink?

@@schlomoshekelstein908 I have actually thought about cooling those lines as I have inadvertently rested the underside of my forearm on that horizontal ONCE! Sizzling meat for sure! Perhaps an upcoming episode just got created? Thank you Schlomo! Viewers like you get S&!T DONE! Maybe some thermal imaging in the future as well? That could be fun!

Just finished recording this episode! Really interesting learnings once you start using thermal imaging on these things! Thanks for the idea! I think it made a neat episode! Look for it early next week!

Sooo, I found out what was up! Turns out my really nice microphones had a setting, buried DEEP inside them, that forced either of the two mics to either the left, or right channel. Since these are really good mono mics that CAN make sense, but not for me. I have fixed this for the future but I suspect your playback device might be missing the left channel and that is why you cannot hear me on this video?
