Can i mount my trigger wheel with the first tooth before the missing tooth right at the TDC? So the config will be 0 on the trigger angle? I´m asking because i´m planning in stalling a 36-1 trigger wheel on my motorcycle (Suzuki GN250) rotor, i don´t know this angle, i will make it up, the sensor have its location, its a VR sensor. Or can i mount my trigger wheel with the first tooth before the missing tooth just line up with the T mark on the rotor? If you have any suggestion it will be deeply appreciated.
@@PowerPC602 sure doesnt matter the distance of the missing or first tooth to the sensor is the rleevant measurement for trigger angle i also show how thats calculated in Part 9. i suggest, you watch that. in part 10 wich will eb released soon i show how to set and confirm base timing
thanks, but well "speedy" isnt really the the right word since every video will be somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes haha. But i want to show everything and that takes some time. The whole process including showing how to tune a car will probably be around 20 Parts id assume. As for the basemap alone, it will probably be close to 10
Subbed. Great content and a great refresher for me. Been out of things for a while! So would a Speeduino be good for a 6g74 single jingle in your opinion? (turbo application) From what I can see on here I should be able to do a COP setup, even if wasted spark on the standard sensors.
Thanks! Should do it fine, if it has missing tooth and homing tooth on the cam you will be able to run sequential aswell. as long as it does not have direct injection or anything, you are gonna be fine
Thanks for the video! Really helped me so far. I'm trying to run sequential on my NA8 motor, i have a standard NA optical CAS on the back of the exhaust cam, and 36-2 trigger wheel with vvt hall sensor on the crank. Everything runs fun semi-sequential off just the crank sensor, but how can i include the CAS signal to run sequential? Can it be done with the standard optical cas? Ive heard i may need a later Hall CAS and to modify it to output only a single pulse
Hi, there should be two signals coming out of the cas, as it has to use that for "crank" and "cam" otherwise it wouldnt know where it is. that homing signal should be the yellow and blue wire i think, though dont quote me on that. this could be used as a reference. but again, never done it on an NA so i dont know the specifics
@@throttlebuddies6356 thanks for the reply, yep the yellow wire is there, CMP signal, the other signal from here I've cut off and am using the CKP from the actual crank sensor instead. The CAS yellow wire has two pulses, a long pulse and a short pulse, I've heard that I need to block the long pulse from happening? Any idea if this is right? Would it work with the two pulses? What settings would I need in the second section you describe in the video?
@@provar1 no i think you need to splice the blue yellow wire into the ecu as that shows one pulse. modifying it so that it shows one pulse wouldnt be possible except for groinding the part off of the cam that is that "long" pulse. you will need a singular signal as a homing signal. as the ecu needs to know in wich stroke the engine is
Nice work. I need some help/ guidance setting up a v4.3 board on an RB25DET engine, I'm stuck. I don't have any instagram or Facebook accounts but I do have email and WhatsApp.
Hi. If I don't have a cam sensor and the jumpers are set for only crank trimming, how should I set the secondary trigger edge? Can I disable that option?

You’re a great help and your videos are awesome.
Really nice speedy videos straight to the point, i like it!

@@throttlebuddies6356 haha with Speedy i was referring to Speeduino ;)
I think you have just the right amount of length of videos, 10-30 is perfect
@@L1NKU5 yeah i think so too and if somebody needs a specific part, they can just watch the specific video that explains it haha :D
This is awesome.
Richtig geile Video Reihe danke !
Hatte den Kanal gerade wiederentdeckt, vor 3,4 Jahren schonmal was geschaut !
Which speeduino hardware you did use ?
Danke, freut mich, dass es dir gefällt!
In dem video nutze ich ein ua4c board bzw. von DIY-efi

in theory when you use wasted spark and batch injection then it should just work right away, just dont select something for secondary.
Can I use the speeduino to drive coil on plug setup?
Sure, done it myself too
Ever done a k20a3 before loke a rsx
no but not much different from any other engine. if you need help send me a DM on instagram!
