We went out to a club one night any EVERY guy in the club went crazy...they hit on her...wanted to fight me over her....i had to get the hell out of there. How is 45 in your peak? That's me now. A solid 7, even been told back home that I'm an 8/10, been in Ukraine now for 6 weeks, and haven't even come close to a dry kiss. It really boils down to 'game'. You need to have good game (day game, night game and text game) even here in Ukraine, it's no different to the west. The women here are not going to be all over you just because you're some western guy. Charisma, charm, wit, gift of the gab, know what to say, the art of escalating, text talk etc...if you don't have that, if you're like me an introvert beta male, no matter what country you're from or how good looking you are, you will struggle. Yes, you need good game to play at the highest levels (unless you just have so much perceived value from your looks, status & money but that is super rare in reality as I meet guys with bucketloads of that and they still struggle here without game). In general, men peak in terms of their perceived value in dating between 35-45 y.o. ... of course, some guys peak earlier or later than that, especially if he doesn't look after himself and has no money or status then he will have passed his peak earlier than 35. From the 10 dates only one said “yes” to me, a 40 year old 5/10. If I was a local or spoke fluent Russian and had top-notch game I would have cleaned up, Covid or not...end of story.

Instead, what we mean by 'gold digger' is - wanting a man to spend *too much* more than he should. Especially compared to local men who are economically comparable (not in terms of income, but economic status. I.e. upper middle class westerner and upper middle class Ukrainian). Such as expensive restaurants on first few dates, not even just the first. Comparable local men would not do this. Nor would he buy her expensive gifts very soon after dating, either.
The opposite is true, as well. A western men cannot expect a Ukrainian woman to sleep with him on the 1st or 2nd date. Its unrealistic and not really fair. Nor should she have to have the sexiest clothes or best perfume. Nor should she have to be completely waxed on only the 3rd date (he's not even her boyfriend yet. So, why should she be so prepared?). Your analysis of the "value gap" in Ukraine is interesting but omits one important factor: The population collapse and how it effects all issues from job opportunities, the general economy, the willingness of Ukraine women to accept older (or sexually unattractive) foreigners as partners as a method of escape from an economic situation that inevitably will get much worse, prostitution and sexual tourism and the scams many women who desire to remain in Ukraine employ for survival purposes or to maintain a living standard (these scams are really just another survival method chosen by some rather than emigration with a foreign partner for which they have no real emotional or sexual connection). The U.N. estimated that by 2050 Ukraine's population will decline by at least 20% with most of the decrease resulting from the emigration of younger Ukrainians and with immense ramifications on issues such as jobs, societal stability and future birth rates. The lack of a stable rule of law and a low birth rate, both caused by complex issues, suggest that the desire or need of women to seek mates outside the country are likely to increase dramatically over the next decade and, no matter what they admit to in interviews, that this need is currently widely perceived and soon will lead to outright desperation. For foreigners seeking women for long term relationships this desperation is likely to lead to a gradual increase in the value gap to the temporary advantage of foreign men seeking such relationships with women of considerably higher value. Unfortunately for foreigners who seek long term relationships, once situated in more favorable surroundings, it is inevitable that the value gap will reassert itself leading to many (or most) of these relationships abruptly ending to the dismay of the foreigners.
