Hey there ,
Great video and content. I would love to get a copy
Of that guide if possible.
Thank you.
Peace ✌🏼
I have lived in Vancouver my whole life. It’s nice for maybe 4 months of the year. It’s hard to book anything outdoors because you never know what the weather will do. My last three vacations have been rain.
I’m leaving today for a camping trip and surprise. Rain forecast all 3 days.
Vancouver is on my bucket list to travel one day!
@Alexanderschtegenburg Amazing! I hope that you are able to experience it for yourself one day!
Thanks for the videos! Been researching a lot on Vancouver. your video gives out lots of good information. Appreciated it.
Amazing! Love to hear it! Let me know if there’s any info you’d like to know more about for a future video. :)
I'm 47 years old, and I want to move to Vancouver, I love the rain
@cht5086 I definitely think these things all depend on your perspective. If you love a moderate climate and don't mind a bit of wet in the winters then you'll feel right at home here! :)
I love Vancouver. Great content!
Thank you, Ramon. I appreciate that. I hope that you have the chance to move here one day! :)
Outstanding brute honesty. Excellent video production as well.
@gettingitdone Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts...and for the compliments. I really appreciate it! :)
Really comprehensive video, thank you for sharing. Most people from Northern Europe are used to this weather.
@ExNihilo634 Thank you! I appreciate that...and yes, you are totally right!
I also have canadian friends in kelowna and one in wawa county beautifull landscapes some of those areas p.s. from new zeland
Vancouver and Kelowna are pretty close together and could easily be combined in a trip...I had to look Wawa County up...but Ontario is quite a distance from Vancouver still. :) PS I backpacked through New Zealand as a teenager and loved it. Such a beautiful country filled with wonderful people!
why havent you got a million sub..
very nice and standard video
Thank you, @tarjeetsingh5577! Really appreciate the kind comments and thank you for checking out my channel!
thanka that helps a lot
I’m happy to hear it! Let me know if there are other topics that you’d like to have covered about Vancouver!
@@LivingInVancouver-BC yes I've some good topics for example, inflated housing market, crime and homeless people, debt slavery
@@gunnerforever4392 Thanks for the ideas! I do cover some of the negatives of living in Vancouver including the cost of housing and homelessness in this video here -> ruclips.net/video/bvBtPVt1GIo/видео.html and also this one here -> ruclips.net/video/ZV4zTPEf2TI/видео.html
Love the videos man, planning to move next September for a year with my girlfriend. Your vids are great for research! Do you help with looking for places to rent or just buying property? Thanks
Thank you, @michaelrooney6212. I appreciate you watching and commenting! Congrats on considering a move out here. Unfortunately, I don't offer any professional help with renting (unfortunately, no one does here in BC). Have you had a chance to check out my video on renting in Vancouver (ruclips.net/video/_CCsCu3wgOQ/видео.html). If you still have any questions after checking it out, feel free to reach out to me directly and I'll do my best to help you out.
Hey! Awesome videos. Can you please share a copy of your Moving to Vancouver guide?
Thanks, Vivek. Glad to hear that you are enjoying the videos! I've sent the guide your way! :)
Best climate in Canada - including Victoria, if one wants to live in a large city. Temperatures in July are over 30C very rarely and only for short time, never 40C, at least not to far from the sea shore.
@jiritichy7967 Appreciate you sharing your experience! Unfortunately, "Heatdome" proved to us that 40C is possible in Vancouver (hopefully not something that will happen regularly in the future)...but you are right, the time spent in the 30C+ range is just a week or two each year. For the benefit of people unfamiliar with our geography, @jiritichy7967 is pointing out that temperatures are usually more moderate close to the ocean (eg an area such as Richmond or Vancouver) vs areas further inland (such as Abbotsford or Chilliwack). Thanks for checking out the channel!
My biggest fear of Vancouver is the cold weather.... I'm not used to Cold, I can handle the rain.... Vancouver is a beautiful city but the lack of sun from November to March is scary....I like the sunny weather...
@rogersampaio7450 I hear you. Where are you coming from? "Cold" is relative. For Canada, Vancouver is pretty warm...and generally considered to be very mild. However, if you are coming from a tropical country it's going to take some getting used to. But if Canada is the destination and you don't love cold then you don't have many options. It's really either Vancouver or Victoria. Appreciate you checking out the channel and sharing your thoughts by the way!
@@LivingInVancouver-BC I'm African and I am currently in India Bangalore....
Thanks for the video
The cold/lack of sun will definitely take some getting used to then, @rogersampaio7450. :) But many do it and don't mind. Vitamin D pills help in the winter months. Are you considering other countries or focused on Canada specifically?
@@LivingInVancouver-BC focused in Canada specifically.... Vancouver BC...I'm mentally preparing myself for the cold till I get used 🙏🙏😊😊
Ah ok @rogersampaio7450! In my view, it's much better if you embrace the winter than let it get you down. I can't say that I've personally mastered that skill but I think the people that thrive do that well. They will find hobbies or activities that they are passionate about to make the winter more fun. Things like skiing, snowboarding, snow camping, snow shoeing or indoor rock climbing or whatever it happens to be. I think that really helps.
What about Langley city? Moving there next month
@muhannadsiddique Hi! Thanks for checking out the channel! Do you mean, what's the weather like in Langley?
Yes, sorry. Is the weather in Langley city similar to Vancouver? @@LivingInVancouver-BC
No worries, @muhannadsiddique! Just wanted to make sure I understood the question. The further you get from the ocean (where Vancouver is) the less the temperature is moderated by it. As a result, you'll find Langley to have hotter summers and colder winters (not an enormous difference but enough to notice). Also, Langley gets quite a bit more rain than the City of Vancouver on average (about 1,500 mm vs about 1,200 mm annually). What made you choose Langley?
@@LivingInVancouver-BC Closer to Trinity Western University, my sister will be enrolling there. And also rent was cheaper than Vancouver.
Sounds like a good decision for you. I hope that you enjoy living here!
Maybe still better than gothenburg
I've never been...but I think that Vancouver definitely gets warmer in the summer than Gothenburg.
have you run out of real estate doom and gloom posts..now it is the weather
@stephenfermoyle4578 This channel has never been about real estate doom and gloom. It's about the reality of living in Vancouver, both good and bad...so not sure what you are referring to?
