That book series was my absolute favorite and I am sad that I won’t ever get to read it again for the first time. Once you’re done with that series, highly recommend the fourth wing & iron flame or one dark window & two twisted crowns. Both so good!!❤️

Pretty sure it’s a pediatric unit and they only take adult overflow patients!
Yeah so we are a pediatric unit first but we can take adults if we’re slow but they have to an “appropriate” pt load for us to balance with what our babies are needing! So when we’re close to full with peds we don’t take adults bc the little guys are priority first!! It’s actually kind of fun doing the full age range bc get you constantly get to do and learn new things!

i think she's just nervous from previous experiences with other colleagues, not necessarily her current ones on her unit but maybe ones in surrounding units. the nursing culture can be so toxic sometimes, thank you Ashley for sharing and for remaining positive as you work hard! 😊 i love seeing your work updates and you seem to be really loving this unit. great to see!
