Don't let volume fool you. A true test is to level match to see/hear what the plugin is actually doing. Cool plugin but because of the lack of manual adjustments its overpriced.

This plugin is not for everyone. I bought it because I heard a certain sound I was looking for. I will be adding this to my mixbus chain.
In the video Ars said it MULTIPLE TIMES. The beat is not fully mix. He is doing a demonstration on how it sounds just throwing it on a beat. Some of us been in situations where clients want to hear what you have and they get a little antsy. That is the demonstration he displayed. Not a full mixdown. 🤦🏾♂️😅

Been using this pluggin for the past 5 days....Its AMAZING if you use this tool correctly. I Finally bought it today. However, this pluggin was NOT design to be "put on your mix bus" or even on your master. THIS pluggin is designed for top down mixing. Meaning you MIX INTO this pluggin and have ALL of your mix busses set up BEFORE you start mixing down so basically doing everything opposite as one would typically do. The advantage to this technique is you end up with a much more natural and dynamic master with less effects. Another Technique is when you are finally done finalizing the song....You can take this pluggin off all together and then master at the end as you traditionally would while still hitting the "target" of the signature sound thats associated with this pluggin. BTW increasing the gain on this pluggin DRASTICALLY changes the characteristics of the pluggin (kinda like Waves Mix Centric) but you have to compensate the OUTPUT which you failed to do in this review. Hope this helps someone who has a open mind. ✌
I didn’t fail to compensate the output,I had everything exactly how I wanted for the overall point I was trying to make(the point was in regards to how this thing can help even on an unmixed beat which I explained in the review) u are right about the other points and I expressed how helpful it is to mix through it.I disagree with u saying it’s NOT meant to be on a mix bus,it’s a tool,and even though it is made to be effective in certain uses,AS A CREATIVE,it’s meant to be used how YOU see fit.There’s no rules in music only guidelines,when u know the guidelines u can start to move past them and just do what FEELS right.u made some good points but I think u missed some of mine,anyway I’m glad your enjoying the plug-in

I used the new 40s very own drums from native instruments
seems very cool but for real man.. you have to level the volume to hear what the plug in really does. a 10db vol boost will "always" let you think that its a great step forward :) im definetely gonna check it out.

Looks like some mastering wizardry that you cannot see under the hood on. I'd avoid this in the mix and maybe just use it to bump it, in the end? After a solid balance and mix down, I use Ozone 9 and Sonible's Smart Limit in my mastering chain, with both showing you what's going on under the hood. I especially love Smart Limit, as it helps me get things right for Streaming services. What's really missing here is using a reference track against yours and getting the LUFS under what streaming services you are working with.
This isn’t a replacement for mastering.
The limiter is just there as a reference or if wanna send to an artist to get an idea of what the mix sounds like final mastering.

How would you go about mastering after mixing into it ? Do you bypass the limiter and start another God particle plug in on the master track ?
There’s a LOT that can be said about mastering and if u should turn off any limiters added to the final mix.my basic rule is,anytime I’m sending something to get mastered I turn off whatever limiter is doing the heaviest amount of work on my mix (or I just turn it down) enough to give the mastering engineer the headroom needed to work.now if ur asking about mixing and mastering everything yaself,then it’s all up to u,if u already mixed into it and used the limiter I don’t feel there’s any need to add another god particle.usually my master bus is just a solid clipper just to give the overall track a boost and then I go from the clipper into god particle(lately I’ve been using Gold Clip before god particle on my master)

U still have to mix it right,this plug-in will just aid u in the overall final stages of the mix process.if u get a good mix and gain stage properly then this will help u put that extra polish into the end result of your mix
Hey how’s it going, wanted to let you know that was an amazing video, I will say that I am completely blind and I’m using Apple voiceover to navigate through logic and I could actually go through the settings on every plug-in, it’s a little bit hard to know what your settings are as far as your magic settings, would you be willing to tell me exactly the numbers that you have so that way I can apply it to my B? I will be doing Gaines staging so I’m pretty sure this will help me quite a bit since it’s all in one. It would be an amazing help if you could help me out with this one. Once again amazing video and I really hope you don’t ignore this message and you could help out a blind individual thanks man🥊
My magic preset settings are Input set to 1.6 db,eq all set to 0 db,amount knob aka god particle knob set to 134%,limiter set to 7.2 db,output set to 0db
The settings would probably be different for every song,because all music is different so even if I give u the settings I have for one beat it may not work for your beat
@@ArsineyMusic you’re the man thank you so much, so you would mix with this of course I will have to gain stage and once again stage and do my own mixing should I turn off the God particle to bounce it to start my master or leave it as is

I’d say no because there’s more going on than just compression but I’d call it a master bus sweetener just something to polish the sound of ya mix.it’s a combination of compression saturation and gain staging algorithms
