Just wanna say thank you on behalf of everyone for how smooth all of your gameplays are and easy to follow. Putting up the cards seen by Pokko and Selvala is such a nice touch that makes you guys the best cEDH channel out there
They said the player was Ian but I guess it wasn’t ComedIan Edit: wasn’t trying to sound like a douche criticizing Ian. I don’t know anything about Selesnya Selvala so he looked like ComedIan in my eyes in the way that he won. Major props to him
yea i played back that section at 7 mins like 4 times and won a different way each time he kinda just went for value instead of just ending for some reason idk maybe he just wanted to play more or something
Small note on the Umbral Mantle play, if you make infinite mana, you also make the priest of Titania +infinite/+infinite since each untap is giving her +2/+2.
Awesome game! @7:55 I wonder why Ian untapped Selva instead of priest? Seemed like he just needed green mana to go infinite and he already had the tutor in hand. Just wondering if it was just missed or was there something else to worry about.
no I think you're right he had the W. I also don't think he needed the umbra mantle either; flickering priest with emiel greaving it, then moving the greaves.
Selvala player almost give the game. He's got 8 mana, Quirion Ranger, Tooth and Nails. No need to untap Selvala. Cast Tooth and Nails first, take Ashaia and Grand Abolisher to protect yourself from any flash creatures. That's all you need, you get infinite mana, infinite draw... Dissapointed... He wins in the end, but only because opponents let him win.
Ya he also could of untapped the Priest instead of selvala for more mana, then blinked quarion ranger to perform its combo with Ashaya. There was a few ways to win that turn.
YYOOOO! I feel like Shu would have likely won turn two if they had cast Imperial Seal before any of the rocks. It might not have been a "good enough" target for flusterstorm if nobody knew you for sure could cast Naus or even PITA turn two... Any upside to casting the rocks first that I'm missing?
@@ashadonji8762 True! But they also had a morphic pool in their opening hand. :) I'm just saying I think the imp seal would've been less likely to be countered if they went morphic pool > imp seal > rocks.
when pako and haldan were spoiled i wanted to build a casual "play your opponents decks" with them, but the more i see them on this channel im concerned people will not want to play with me with this deck
Pako is brutal. Played against one at a casual table, and the rest of us ended up having quite the struggle against a gigantic dog that would 1-shot us if unblocked while also effectively drawing 2-4 cards on each attack.
Didn't analyze too closely, but couldn't sevala win a turn cycle earlier? Especially resolving a tooth and nail... Not sure, seems like there was a line
Yeah. Use the 3 floating to flicker Quirion Ranger resetting it, bounce itself to untap Priest of Titania and repeat for infinite mana, then repeat for selvala to draw deck, then it should be trivial from there
Man I wish I could play with you all. My playgroup is freaking awesome but only 2 of us like to play cedh type decks so it's hard to play with our cedh decks.
"Why would you give him Underworld Breach off that Intuition? Have you seen how stacked his graveyard is-oh. Ohhhh. Well played, Jordan."

Glad you like them!
14:00 Ashaya is the unsung hero. Lands can't be bounced from Cyclonic Rift.
As an avid Selvala player it was cool to see her, but the pilot had like 10 ways to win and missed all of them
yeah i was specting scryb ranger and ashaya with the tooth and nails that would have been gg
They said the player was Ian but I guess it wasn’t ComedIan
Edit: wasn’t trying to sound like a douche criticizing Ian. I don’t know anything about Selesnya Selvala so he looked like ComedIan in my eyes in the way that he won. Major props to him
Yea it wasn't Comedian. This was Ian's first time playing CEDH.
yea i played back that section at 7 mins like 4 times and won a different way each time he kinda just went for value instead of just ending for some reason idk maybe he just wanted to play more or something
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG hey good for him on finding the win then!
As a Ravens fan, I like the way you chose who gets to start.
I want to know all the entries for it lol
Say it with me:
Fuck the Steelers!
I was hoping for Selvala, Heart of the Wilds…
But I am NOT disappointed. Great game!
Yeah that’s what I was expecting but a pleasant surprise. There are like 4 other games with mono green selvala though
Finally the original narrator is back! The one and only!! The other ones are so boring!!! You are the best!!
Was looking up pako/Haldan ten minutes before I came across this video👀
Couldn’t make up my mind between building Pir/Toothy or Pako/Haldan
I was considering making a haldan and pako deck and wanted to see one in action. Despite their loss im incredibly excited to build it now!
“Best insult for the Pittsburgh Steelers” as a Clevelander I love it😂
What an awesome game! Love me some GW Selvala! Great plays all around!
Really loved the Selvala deck, was curious to see how it would do with the group hug effect of its commander
It also gives the game away a lot
Been watching a lot of these lately. Seems like everytime there is an Elf deck in play, it wins xD Elf OP
Small note on the Umbral Mantle play, if you make infinite mana, you also make the priest of Titania +infinite/+infinite since each untap is giving her +2/+2.
Love seeing combat damage mattering in cEDH!
If someone gives you a Breech off an Intuition, they either just finished first grade or you’re about to get pantsed.
Pako player got blue balled so hard.
Love me some Endurance 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Playing allosaurus shepherd post counterspell was painful to watch
Selesnya selvala? Wasn't expecting this! Sick game!
Awesome game!

10:55 Zac swings Pako with Shu. 🤨 Wait a second
"Ian has the best insult for the Pittsburgh Steelers and gets to go first." This Ian sounds like good people!
Selvala player almost give the game. He's got 8 mana, Quirion Ranger, Tooth and Nails. No need to untap Selvala. Editor putting in work today, great vid!
This is why we should play seasons past as haldan/pako. Can't fizzle :)
Yet another great game, you guys do such an excellent job of presenting fast-paced engaging gameplay, keep it up!
But what was the insult Ian?!
Please bring back the hand size indicator it was a great touch and very helpful
Nice game!
The decklist links do not work when I click on them... Tried different browsers even. Anybody else has this?
that was an impressive showing of selvala
That was thrilling!
As a lifelong Browns fan, I NEED to know what that insult was!!
It was about how much better the Steelers were then the Browns. 🤣
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG lol dammit
As a Bengals fan, I want to know the exact Steelers insult used so I can incorporate it into my gameday experience.
YYOOOO! I feel like Shu would have likely won turn two if they had cast Imperial Seal before any of the rocks. It might not have been a "good enough" target for flusterstorm if nobody knew you for sure could cast Naus or even PITA turn two...
Any upside to casting the rocks first that I'm missing?
Both Mox Opal and Industry Spire both have metalcraft for coloured mana.
@@ashadonji8762 True! But they also had a morphic pool in their opening hand. :) I'm just saying I think the imp seal would've been less likely to be countered if they went morphic pool > imp seal > rocks.
Pls say me what is the name or where obtain the ian's playmat
That game was NUTS!!
Couldn't zack cast cyclonic with overload from exile with Haldan?
Ashaya is on the field I think
@@aimeduquet4879 tru
Had the same thought, but Ashaya makes all of Ians creatures to lands and cyclonic rift only bounces non-land permanents.
I really wanna see a CEDH game with all named Partner commanders
when pako and haldan were spoiled i wanted to build a casual "play your opponents decks" with them, but the more i see them on this channel im concerned people will not want to play with me with this deck

Yoooooo, as a Ravens fan I wanna hear all the Steelers insults.
Pako extra turns. Seems like I may need to make some changes to my pako/haldan deck, good boy is going to swing more 😉
How does someone play cedh with you guys or online with strangers?
so im not sure why but Ian drew a second card on his turn after he cast selvala. I am not sure how to time stamp but it popped up at 3:20
Nice win go off king
How do I apply to play games with y'all?
Never noticed, but the reflected Play with Power logo lookalike cyrillic
Nice ❤️
8:26 How did Zack respond to Dockside entering by activating Wishclaw? Isn't it Sorcery Speed only?
It is "activate only during your turn." Usually the distinction doesn't matter though.
@@CharlotteMimic That makes sense! Had to reread Wishclaw. As they say, reading the card does indeed explain the card.
Didn't analyze too closely, but couldn't sevala win a turn cycle earlier? Especially resolving a tooth and nail... Not sure, seems like there was a line
Let's go Selesnya
Well if Ian's gonna insult the Steelers we might as well know what he said. Lol
8:10 Ian could of won
Yeah. Use the 3 floating to flicker Quirion Ranger resetting it, bounce itself to untap Priest of Titania and repeat for infinite mana, then repeat for selvala to draw deck, then it should be trivial from there
Good boy cEDH??? THIS is my next brew.
Man I wish I could play with you all. My playgroup is freaking awesome but only 2 of us like to play cedh type decks so it's hard to play with our cedh decks.
Sign up to be a Mox Pearl when spots are open. Or come to the conventions we attend! We try to attend multiple throughout the year to play with fans.
There’s quite a few popular cedh discords to
Play on
Well now I want to hear this Steelers insult :)
was the best insult for the Pittsburgh Steelers calling them the Pittsburgh Eagles?
Zack dind't use cyclonic rift overload ???
Cyclonic Rift does not bounce lands and unfortunately all of Ian's creatures are lands.
I respect Jordan's passion for the Hallar deck, but it has never seemed as powerful as the other decks in the format.
Because it’s not a cedh deck
@@koreyg8552 Don't be rude.
Insulting The Steel Curtain...-.-
What a weird game. Felt like Ian should have won twice and Zack should have won as well. Very strange sequencing from both
NO NOT THE STEELERS
what was the winning insult about the steelers lmao
more conquest please
What was the joke about the steelers?
Wouldn’t you like to know…
Quirion Ranger returns a first to its owner's hand as a cost. It does not return an elf to its owner's hand
Due to ashaya, all his creatures were forests at the time
Ashaya turns all nontoken creatures you control into Forests. That's why it works.
extra turn decks are boring
Let's go Selesnya
