ALSO If your extender is connected to the main router via cable then you have to choose wired connection and then access point, rest of the process is simple. The wifi option will give very less speed compared to wired option.

Hi, my wirless network is not working properly. LAN gives me consistent 60+ MBPS speed but on 802.11 g/n/a gives a meagre 500 KBPs speed. 802.11g gives 5-7 MBPs.
Also firmware version is 3.0.4. Please help me.

@@neerajpal2078 Did it work for you ? My router is the new model (X1) with the antennas sticking out from the sides rather than from the back. Also, firmware version is shown as "3.0.5"

We are getting internet connect when connected via Lan cable in laptop..but wifi is not getting connected to mobiles as the wifi name is not appearing in wifi network page in mobiles
Try assigning a static channel on the wireless configuration of the router.

My D-Link as a repeater has connected to my main router
But the problem is that, there is fluctuations in internet of both router and repeater
Sometimes main router has No Internet while sometimes repeater has No Internet
Can I get solution 🙏

Hi, I have set the router with the ipv4. However, after the setup, I get no internet. When I open the configuration page again, it says internet connected but internet doesn't work. On connecting the same cable to my PC however, just works fine. Please help me solve this issue.

when setting up, wi fi for phone, tablet, tv is perfect; but for laptops just wi fi is not recognized, it does not show in wi fi networks available, internet in laptop just work when ethernet is connected.

Try changing the wireless channel in wireless settings of router and verify.

No, this router has RJ-45 WAN port. For DSL line you need modem to which you can connect this router

@@rfabhishekjha Got it bro. I used both wired and wireless method for using my extra dir615 router as a repeater but the repeater is not catching the speed. It is around 1mbps. So, I dropped the idea of using it as a repeater.

In wi-fi repeater mode router connects to an existing Wi-Fi network amplifies it and rebroadcasts it in order to extend the existing Wi-Fi signal range
In WISP mode router connects to an existing Wi-Fi network, then uses only it’s internet (wirelessly) while creating another fully separate Wi-Fi network.
