Hi, I am a networking teacher at a Career Technical Center for a High School in Maine, USA. I Have been teaching for 28 years, but Cisco is a new part of my curriclum, and your videos have been huge in my sucess in my passing this information on to my students. I wish there were some way that you could give a lesson to my students, or maybe talk to them. Thanks for your help keeping me one step ahead of my students. Keep the videos coming!

This video clip deserves 10 million likes. You made it very simple to understand for a beginner like me. Just bought 3 old routers and 3 switches plus a VOIP phone and wifi access point to set up a Cisco lab at home and your video helps me a lot. I am trying to take a CCNA test in a few months. Hopefully I will find other video clips that show how to set up a complete network for internet connection, VOIP phone system and wifi connection all combined(something similar to a real college network). Thanks a lot.

@Sameer Khan Yes it's possible but without VLAN's. You can use only 1 vlan and put all interface in that VLAN and connect ISP to any port and all other ports will get the ISP services. BUT If you create multiple vlans then you need router to route the traffic to ISP.

Hello brother, one of the greatest video on youtube on live devices. Can you make a series of CCNA like routing protocols and more advance switching concepts? It would be great for many people who want to start their career in networking. Thanks for your wonderful efforts.

Thank you very much, this is probably for now one of the best videos I have ever seen on this topic. I just didn´t understand 2 Things. 1. Why do you need to assign ip address to the different vlans on the home-switch when there already is another router, that should do the routing? 2. Why do you need to configure access lists in Minute 37:00, would it not work without access lists? Thank you very much in advance, I really appreciate your work!
