Vermont School Banned from Sports for Following Its Religious Beliefs

When the high school girls’ basketball team at MVCS was scheduled to play against a team with a 6-foot-tall male athlete, it chose to forfeit the game rather than violate its beliefs about sex and sacrifice students’ safety. Unfortunately, the Vermont Principals Association expelled MVCS and barred it from competing in all its sports and activities simply because the school chose to follow its religious beliefs.
Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed a lawsuit in November 2023. A federal district court declined to allow MVCS back into the state sports league, and we appealed that decision. MVCS high school girls’ basketball coach Chris Goodwin and ADF Senior Counsel Ryan Tucker appeared on Newsmax to talk about the case.

I'm happy they are standing on their morales
If we don’t take a stand for our beliefs and values, we will lose the freedom of living our faith openly.
All woman needs to stand up for womens sports,they should have to play by their birth gender not their created gender. The whole point for men and womans sports was to make it fair men and women are absolutely different and no surgery or medications can change that!
"Boys are boys and girls are girls" is not a "belief." It's a fact. Hang in there!
