Super universal the shaka, pretty much every surfer in Aotearoa does one by reflex when photographed! A double shaka when barreled seems almost mandatory if you get the chance. I don't care how cliched it may seem, it's cool. I even know some wind surfers here in Germany who all automatically throw one whenever photographed.

as your first ever youtube video it doesn't do anyone for you guys to act like clowns and couple of immature guys, why would you act like a fool when trying to teach and show people about your culture, i have friends from Hawaii that i worked with in the past and work with now that didn't like this video and said you weren't conducting yourselves like true Hawaiian's. My friends whom i love dearly can be act foolish like everyone else and at times be dumb but that only happens when we are all around a group of friends, they always conduct themselves with class and dignity and never ever like clowns if they are around people that they meet for the 1st time.so if you want people in this case me to take your channel serious then u did a bad job showing me that i should. But you guys aren't gonna change how i feel about Hawaii and Hawaiian's cuz i know better i have awesome friends that have showed me who they really are and i think they are good models for Hawaiian's.
