In early 2013, SM decided to join both subunits in order to increase M popularity and help K (SM didn't want M to be more popular than K); in this process sth happened and it was reported that Kris was wishing to leave the group, then Wolf comeback as OT12 happened, EXO did well and following they've had the Growl comeback and then the Showtime. EXO popularity skyrocket, however the management of the members activities was bad. SM refused 15 movies proposals for Kris, and made M subunit to stay in korea even when they didn't have any schedule, the company allowed K to have CFs but in China SM only wanted K+M to do CFs (M only had Mellishu's to promote in China); SM tried hard to force China to love EXO as a whole, but did a little to Korea love M subunit. Finally the individual promotion of the members, while some K members started filming dramas and movies, M members had a limited scheduled. I just... don't get it. I'm not a big fun or EXO, but... I cry, when I think about Luhan and Kris. I just want to know, why? I watched EXO's Showtime, when they were already gone, and I just couldn't figure out, why... I'm not angry 'cause of them, or sth like that. I wish them best. But still... It's just so sad... Ghaaa... T^T 10 is not the same as 12...
It was 1st planned that EXO-M would promote in China and EXO-K would promote in Korea, but in 2012 EXO-K faced a hard time promoting in Korea and lost rookie awards to Ailee and BAP (the competition in Korea was really hard), however EXO-M was doing well in China, Chinese fans loved the M members and a couple of months after their debut, they were receiving their 1st award and receiving tribute from fans, M subunit also got popular in Taiwan. In early 2013, SM decided to join both subunits in order to increase M popularity and help K (SM didn't want M to be more popular than K); in this process sth happened and it was reported that Kris was wishing to leave the group, then Wolf comeback as OT12 happened, EXO did well and following they've had the Growl comeback and then the Showtime. EXO popularity skyrocket, however the management of the members activities was bad. SM refused 15 movies proposals for Kris, and made M subunit to stay in korea even when they didn't have any schedule, the company allowed K to have CFs but in China SM only wanted K+M to do CFs (M only had Mellishu's to promote in China); SM tried hard to force China to love EXO as a whole, but did a little to Korea love M subunit. Finally the individual promotion of the members, while some K members started filming dramas and movies, M members had a limited scheduled. In 2014, SM decided to split the subunits again, but things were already messed up, and adding the health problems and the overwork; so that's why Kris and Luhan had decied to leave the company.
Ikr i just started liking kpop last july i watched showtime first and like a month later i actually found out kris left i cried like a bitch lol but i never got mad either i felt that they did what they felt was best for them and i support them all the way to forever
foreverinlovewith krishun SM has messed up with M subunit and keeps messing it up. I like some members from K unit, but as whole I preferred the M unit. M was meant to be huge, but bad management ruined it all. OT12 was great, but some members just disappeared when they were together.
Im also a Army first but when I search about this boys its the time they were only 8 and when I got to know more of exo I got so sad of how far theve come we miss the 12boys😢😭😭
