Exits and entries are still very poorly and dangerously designed( even cans placed on the divider expecting a deadly crash). never seen such crazy things abroad. The government is honest, but the NHAI babus and engineers doesn't know how to 'design' an expressway like the US interstate. Most expressways have the same dangerous 'design' like the NHAI. Poorly designed exits and entries, lack of shoulder between the centre lane and the median, very narrow left side shoulder leading to trucks parking on to the left lane etc will drastically increase the road deaths in India. Then in a few years, the government will pay millions of billions of dollars for some international consultancy to 'correct' the design flaws with the current designs. But someone like me who had extensively driven in the US interstate system, can easily point out these mistakes with the NHAI expressway design
