  • Every boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is fought with only Koops. This ended up being a feature length compilation of boss battles because Charge P ended up being a requirement.
There are not really any extra rules beyond "All Mario can do is stay in the back and defend or appeal", but I also banned the use of shops aside from the 3 items you're forced to buy. Superguards aren't allowed either, nor the use of lucky badges. The few items with status ailments associated with them tend to be better anyway, but that's just me. (It's worth mentioning though that I use a Thunder Rage I found as a random drop, but I could have as easily used a Courage Shell for Magnus 2. I just didn't feel like backtracking.)
Also, both the Chapter 3 fights against Rawk Hawk and Bowser are missing because I had all partners that weren't Koops and Yoshi set to 0 max HP. I used glitches so I could skip all of Chapter 3 except for Macho Grubba. That's the reason Mario's actions show the Ultra Hammer early in case that appears in the video.
Doopliss with the partners had to be fought with Zap Tap on the entire time because Koops can't actually fight in the second fight on the player side. I got Zap Tap because I nicknamed the Yoshi "Koops" and went into the Pit of 100 Trials to get the badge. "Koops" also helped me to get the Strange Sack which was used for Grodus, Bowser & Kammy. It's possible without using "Koops" for help, but it's a lot of luck which I don't want to put up with.
You may have also noticed the lack of Bonetail in this video. Let's just say it would not be realistic to even reach Bonetail given my restrictions, let alone defeat him.
