@@clout1207 Wasn't a shuffle. That groove goes back to the '60s and Carter Mclean might play that kind of groove a lot but he definitely didn't "invent" it. lol
beautiful playing. I see you are using a remote pedal that allows you to play the hi-hat on the right side and avoid cross over -- makes perfect sense, but I've never seen that before. what kind of pedal set up do you have for that?? Did you also have to cut down the length of the hi hat rod to not interfere with your ride cymbal?
Thats not a foundry reserve ride as his main ride next to the nuance ride, looks like a monophonic ride. Foundry reserves aren’t byzance. Got that wrong in the description.
Snare is tuned and mixed beautifully.
Simply wow, Love those Evans heads.
As a Jazz drummer myself, that was an excellent use of a press role, along with singles ,flams, etc. very nice interpretation Louie.
Aaaahhhh! I wanted that groove to play out for while at 3:38! You stopped too soon lol! So awesome.
The Mclean shuffle.

Came back here looking for a cymbal demo. Stayed for the awesome drumming. Louie always delivers top quality stuff
I came for the cymbals. But I stayed for the snare (and the skills)!
Cymbals and kit sound awesome and they’re played by a true master of the instrument
Niente da invidiare a colaiuta e weckl fenomenale scioltezza e rilassamento gost notes alla velocità della luce
Top Meinl Kit the best Cymbals ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you Louie 👍
Great playing. I love the strata heads, really think they are under rated / lesser known by a lot of players.

How do you avoid hitting the remote hihat on the way to the 14 inch FT?
beautiful playing.

Thanks! It's the Pearl remote hi-hat stand...works great and no I don't have to cut anything down.
Great sounding Meinl 22" Monophonic ride cymbal. Would you happen to know how many grams this is. Thanks.
sorry, no
Bravo
Really like the more natural, 'in the room' type of sound. How do you find the 18" bass drum compares to a 20" or 22"?
It's a little smaller, and sometimes a tiny bit higher in pitch, but if you tune it right it sounds as good as any other bass drum.
What is that snare? Im a new fan of yours. Love the texture of your playing
Thanks! Cherry solid shell from Pearl.
Hello Louie, you demonstrate great drumming as always! What are the headphones you are using? Are they good in terms of sound insulation to your ears?
Thanks! They’re Ultraphones & they’re great!
Hey Louie! Awesome drumming as usual! Greetings from Brazil! Is this lick at 2:47 a group of 10 notes?
What a great idea to put the Hi hat on the right... Seems so confortable..how you do that? Nice playing by the way! Greetings from Chile!
Thanks! Pearl remote hi-hat stand
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hey Louie. Could I ask what remote stand you're using for the hats? Lovely playing and tones btw..
Thanks! Pearl RH2050!

Louie Palmer: this is one of the best sound on drums in the world
He's a great drummer, really......;)
