Hello My friends, All the viewers have their own opinions and comments.As far as Vidyadhar is concerned, he is a very talented and brilliant artist indeed No one can be declared as a perfectionist.Every body has their own style.But ,the originality and tradtional values msut be preserved.At the same time,changes and innovations must be made as per transition of time without compromising the fundamental structure of THIS GREAT YAKSHAGANA.I have watching yakshagana since the age of one year.I have to say I have completed 43 years.I am a staunch and dedicated supporter of yakshagana.As far as different songs are concerned,yaksahagana songs are the best to me.I have commented about Jansale who is best presently as he is the only person to be considered compititor to our great legend KALINGA NAVDA.His voice is full of variities,dept,consistency,melody etc.Vidaydar is an artist whose steps are so well calculated and well defined.No one can argue in this regards.he has the stage presence,glory,expression etc.

I am viewing yakshangana since 33years since from age of 4 ok and I am paying and seeing for ticket which "" Abhimani"" like me many seeking for orginality of yakshagana due to reality show in TV and movies makes yakshagana back . so to make more grabing viewers need and give next generation right art which come from past. in we can find the ragas which correct sing by famous bagavathas they famous for their talents , i am veiwer have write to comment here your not go or british person to rule me what i must do that I decide OK

Why yakshagan viewes force their viiews on others. Any body can express their opinions.If your ask Tendulkar he will say that present cricket is not traditonal.If you ask Gavaskar,he will say Tendulkar ear is not traditional.If ask Sobers, he will say Gavaskar era is not traditional .So there is no end for the arguements. main thing is we have to evolve with passage of time. I must agree Navda is a legend.But we cannot say that he is the greatest ever. In any field , the greatest word is not suitable.We have great artists who contribute a lot to this field. AGARI Balipa,Kadatoaka,Mandeccha,ganapati bhat,etc.So JANSALE has some better qualiities than NAVDA as per voice melody is concerned. This is my opinion.Please do not show any thrusting opinion on others.Please write healthy , pleasant,non argumentative comments.No one is prefect in any art.Please give an attention here---Shri Kalinga Navada is a legend.I salute this legend.I do know no one in this world will say any negetive comments about Shri kalinga navada, god gifted artist. Shir kalinga Navada truly changed the dimension of yakshagana with his innovative RAGA and TAALA.What he acheived before his shocked death at the age of 32 will not be dreamt and achieved by any Bhagavatas.After 50 years of age, artists start getting name and matured.He is a DHRUVA Nakshatra.At the same, we should not negelct other bhagavatas' great qualities. I have said Jansale is the compitor and cann be brought to the status of Shri NAVDA. Yaksaganam gelge.If Shri Navada is alive, lakhs of new people woould have become the lovers of this great art and yakshana would have become more rich also.

Yes i agree with you about they should follow traditional steps but it has become rare now...Why should R.Achari sing like Kolagi Keshav hegde when he has his own style and can imitate GRK and patla???? If you like chittani and kolagi pls only watch their videos or go to their yakshagana programs dont comment bad about any kalavida or mela ... alll are same to me as they are saving our culture and yakshagana kale...!
