    FAQ's:
    1. No, I don't work there. I already have a day job.
    2. No, the employees don't ask me what I'm doing. They've never asked me to stop, either. Have you ever worked in retail? I have. If I saw somebody doing this, I would absolutely NOT interrupt them.
    3. No, the employees don't get excited when I walk in. I do this maybe three times a year, and DT employee turnover is insanely high. They don't remember me. I'm not in any particular store often enough to become a "regular" in any way.
    4. No, my arm doesn't get tired from holding the phone like that.
    5. No, I will not strap on a GoPro or any other Inspector-Gadget-style device to make these videos. That's just weird-looking and totally not something I care to do.
    6. No, I didn't place that thing incorrectly just to bother you.
    7. Yes, I probably should find something better to do. Perhaps I can spend my time watching someone do this on RUclips.
    8. No, I don't know how long it's going to be before I do another one of those videos that you like better than this, but I'm sure it's coming soon.
    9. No, I don't want to whisper these videos. Even for me, that feels weird and uncomfortable.
    10. No, I really don't care what other people think when they see me doing this.
    11. They aren't paying a bunch of people to sit and watch me on the security camera, so no, they're not discussing what I'm doing.
    12. Yes, I truly do this because it makes me happy.
    13. No, I don't have OCD...not even the self-diagnosed variety.
    14. No, the employees never thank me for doing this. I doubt they ever even noticed.
    15. Saying "flavor" rather than "scent" is a running joke. People complained about it, so I will now do it for all of eternity.
    16. No, no one in the store has ever offered me a job after seeing me do this.
    17. Yes, it’s SUPER expensive.
    18. Yes, it’s SUPER inexpensive.
Now that that's settled, we can sit back and just enjoy the video. 😊 ❤

Yes I have misophonia too and it's so hard, I live in ear plugs pretty much, at least when I'm round my especially noisy family 🥴 But I also wonder if that sensitivity to sound means I experience the positive aspects of it too, so I can be really relaxed and calmed by ASMR sounds, even though I don't actually experience ASMR tingling. As for the misophonia, Mary, I remember getting in trouble for acting out and being snarky to my dad when I was about 9 and older, because he would clank his spoon on his teeth, eat with his mouth open and suck his teeth. I felt like I could just crawl out of my skin and I would get so angry. He thought it was funny to do it extra. For the longest time I thought I was just weird and didn’t know it had a name. Throughout my life the gum chomping and snapping as well as the teeth sucking , etc seem to bypass annoyance and go straight to eliciting anger. I totally feel your pain!

It's nice to know there is others out there with misophonia. I work in an office and office manager sings and clicks her tongue. It drives me bonkers. My job requires accuracy. Cant't say anything because office manager and boss are best friends. If I use a sound machine, earbuds or even close the door to office, the office manager asks me why or passive aggressivly comments about it. I asked in a round about way that I needed background noise of sound machine. The office manager takes these requests personally eventhough I am polite and professional so I just deal with it. I am unhappy at my job🤦‍♀️

It actually gives me severe anxiety and panic attacks. That is the main sound that triggers it. I also can't stand chewing sounds, breathing, snoring, sniffing/coughing 😂 I have to sleep with a white noise machine so it drowns out all the annoying sounds that keep me from sleeping. I also wear earbuds in the lunch room at work so I can't hear people chewing. 😂
