This is a great group of girls that despite competing against each other in tournaments bond really well when it comes to playing for GB. I think they will win against Germany and the whole of the UK will be behind them. Leave it all on the court girls. 🤟
There are no easy matches at this level. Seigemund can be a stubborn opponent, singles and doubles, and Maria has a tricky b/hand slice. If GB makes it to the QFs, Canada will be tough and wanting to retain the title. It could be the first Fernandez vs Raducanu re-match since USO21. If this goes to doubles, Canada could win. Strategy is key for these team tournaments, along with keeping players fit and injury free. Good luck GB. 🏆 🤞🇬🇧
Who is easy there, but GB team all together received 10 millions from LTA and more then that so I am very curious how is possible to not play on the good level and this has been since they were all young (14,15,16,17,18) already have a lot of support financially compared to other small countries with small budgets so I don’t know why anyone is surprised with this level and for me isn’t unbelievable as they are many already from rich family plus they all get money for LTA…today it’s not difficult to become top 150 especially in women tennis and especially if u have opportunity to be sponsored by LTA and have 100K per year since you was 14-18. So Give that investment to other smaller countries and u will see how many better , stronger mentally players u will have in top 100… Look at girls from Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia , Serbia….they all together don’t have close budget and they so strongly competitive…. For me if all of British players win next year all Grand Slams I will not be surprised…
What a great group of ladies. I’m so excited for this!

This may come as a shock to you but hardly anyone in the UK plays tennis...so the talent pool is tiny!!!
if you know a chinese woman player Wang Xinyu who ranked 37 got one million from government per year, you will not surprised
