BPS makes some good stuff. I really like the ones that I have. Your sheath looks really nice. The old one looks like it has seen some use, still a great piece. Thanks for sharing and have a great blessed day.
Hey. 🤔 Seriously,...like Grey Poupon Dijon? Who knew?.. What do the results look like? I mean we're talking about a chemical reaction with the steel? Interesting! ✨😺
@@timothyruth4980 I used regular yellow mustard. I put some lines on the blade and left it for an hour, washed off the mustard and then wiped it down. I left some nice dark lines. Then I put the blade in a paper towel and soaked it in plain vinegar to force a patina on the blade. When it darkened up a bit I washed it and gave it a light polish. I looks good and easy to polish out if I want a different look.
Ooooo. You got a very cool looking sheath with yours. Nice pattern. Cool idea with the staining. I used oil and wax, which did darken it up some. Loving the two I have. Last night I did an apple-cider vinegar soak to blacken the blade and add a layer of protection. A couple of nice old knives. Very classic design. Hope you enjoy it. Have a great day! Merry Christmas!
@@Pocket_EDC Merry Christmas! The sheath is outstanding! Thank you Todd. You will have to show the blade. I’m very interested in trying some of that. I’m stoked about the knife.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Dang Brother. That Knife & sheath looks super 👍 Everything about the design screams well thought out Bushcraft. It has it all. Great Choil. Stout blade. Awesome Grips.
Wow! I love the stripeing on the sheath, I don’t remember seeing that on Todd’s. I have one in my basket on Amazon, i hope my wife picks up the hints I’m putting down.😂 Thanks for sharing Radar, RUclips hasn’t been hitting me with your recommendations, I’ll search your channel out more. Have a great day sir.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
BPS knives are amazing knives in my opinion, especially for their price. Good heat treat, decent steel, can't beat it honestly for what it is!
So far so good ! Enjoy your blade ! That ol blade is amazing. Hollow grinds are cool!
@@MountainAjar thanks JC, this one should get some use

I love mine. I used mustard on mine to darken the blade. Then, I treated the sheath. Nice value
@@larrykoroush6995 I’m liking mine more and more every day. I also used some mustard on the blade, it worked very well. Thanks Larry

Why wood yews puts a handle on kneef ???🙄🦌🦷
I missed it, what are you using to darken the wood? Thanks my friend.👍
@@oxyfee6486 it’s wood stain called Minwax. Puritan pine 218 is the shade. I’ve had it a good while, I think I got it at home hardware
Why would you stain bog oak? You just screwed up what took Mother Nature over 800 years to perfect. Genius 😢
@@andysharlofsky627 it’s walnut, bog oak would be nice.
Bog oak is on the nighthawk not the adventurer
@ my bad. 😣
His knife . He can stain it if he wants .
