I hated when Tracy G asked them about RKelly & censorship because it’s not as simple as censorship. He’s abusive and has admitted to it several times over the years in so many ways. I get asking current pop cultural questions but I wanted to hear more about them and not make it about anything else...especially about RKelly. 🙄 One that note though, the money helped fund his abusive conquests and put folks on payroll for it to keep it hush. I just can’t see how you can attempt to make a case for it just because you want to keep stepping in the name of love. These stories and accusations aren’t new. They’re a little over 20 years in the making and nothing really happens to these predators besides a small amount of public scorn because folks want to keep enjoying their artwork. It’s not true censorship if you can still find his music, radio stations still play his music and the fact that his streaming increased even after Spotify took it down. It just shows folks don’t care and will listen regardless of who he’s hurt. That’s not forcing him to be censored really. I just don’t believe in separating the artist from their work for the sake of my own selfish enjoyment at the expense of their victims. I partially understand why they answered the way they did but still nah. And as far as the XXX dude he just seems to have a lot going on within himself that needs to be addressed before he keeps on with his abusive ways especially in such a huge and dangerous stage as fame and folks excusing his behavior by bringing up his potential as an artist is kind of selfish and does not help him grow from his ways either.
Damn, he won't be able to grow now, that shit is sad.
