No witchcraft, no jiggery-pokery..... nothing that someone else "can't do", just simple attention to detail and hard work. Very interesting video as always thank you.
Thanks, John, for another "epiphany moment" for me! The technique shown for eliminating wrinkles was just what I needed to correct the wrinkle issues on belts I make. The only belts I build are for myself, because as you said, there are tons of folks out there doing it. My tiny bag business is strictly a side hustle to my retirement to keep me busy, and I do it because I love to sew. At 72 I realize I can’t be all things to all people, so I stick to my boutique bags and leave belts and tactical gear to folks like yourself who still work to make a living. Thanks for sharing your talent, and be assured there are many of us who appreciate your willingness to share.
Such a treat to watch a master craftsman at work. Thx JW!
These videos are cool. The insight of seeing the belt being built as well as nuggets of useful information. Your products are the best on the market!
Oh...I have too tie my own shoestrings. Both hilarious and sobering at the same time. Well done sir
Enjoyed my first SRF. Good job. Also, liked this video very much. The "how to" for avoiding wrinkles alone easily saved me a couple of attempts of trial and error.
Quality. My belt is 2 years old, and still looks like new. Worth every penny.
Love these videos. You should auction off that belt.
Loved seeing how my belt was made John! Keep up the videos
Always awesome to see a master at his craft.
Id argue the last 3 or so minutes when Mr. Willis explains how life actually works, are the most important in this video.
Doesn't matter if it's a buildinga belt, building a house or watching a blacksmith work, the ability we have today to have a master of their craft allow us to peek over their shoulder as they work on is awesome!
You, sir, make this look easy. I wanted to learn to make some pouches and bags, so I started off making my wife a couple of small purses and make-up bags. I'll now gladly pay another man for his time to build my gear.
man, i really don't need a 4th belt. But I want one...
Great job hiding your mistakes - the true mark of a craftsman.
Will you be opening these up online? That’s the exact belt/color I’m looking for
Enjoyed the heck out of the vid and commentary. Are you going to be getting the MITMFUSA shirts are back in stock? I want to grab a few !!!
Which magic machine did you go use to finish? I had just started to search for the Consew 203 you mentioned.
Just found the channel. On my third product. Great content.
nice work
Thanks for making these videos! So much experience and knowledge being shared for FREE! I Really enjoy the stories as you are building as well. I was wondering what size needle you use? I have a 206RB1 with T70 thread and a size 18 needle and when I sew through 17337 I occasionally get a random loose/chewed up looking top thread and am just trying to narrow it down. I scored the Consew from an old school hotrod builder that did his own upholstery and I'm fixing issues as they present themselves.
Awesome build! you can totally see how it's made but still not build it!
Like it Hell , I'm loving mine pure perfection to say the least.
👍👊🇺🇸
makes me want to learn to sew.
Just curious, what size thread is used on these?
69e nylon. Or 70. Same thing
