- Stephen works as an online taxi driver in Nairobi. He's been doing this job for three years now. His car is a Toyota Passo with a 1000cc engine. He bought it in Mombasa for Ksh 720,000, paying cash from his savings. Every day, after covering fuel costs and paying commissions to taxi companies, he manages to save Ksh 3000.
His advice to anyone wanting to join this industry is simple: drive carefully, work hard, and set daily financial goals. These are the keys to success, according to him. Additionally, Stephen recommends using LPG gas instead of petrol for better savings and environmental benefits.
Stephen's success story shows that with discipline and determination, anyone can thrive in the online taxi business. Despite the challenges, he has managed to build a stable income and secure his financial future.
Furthermore, his choice of using LPG gas reflects his commitment to sustainability. By opting for a cleaner fuel alternative, Stephen not only saves money but also contributes to reducing pollution and protecting the environment.
In conclusion, Stephen's experience as an online taxi driver highlights the importance of diligence, hard work, and smart financial management in achieving success. His journey serves as an inspiration for others looking to enter the industry, showing that with the right mindset and choices, success is within reach.
3k per day is a realistic and achievable target, I totally agree with him because not all days are the same in terms of reaching targets. When I used to do this business I would achieve the same target Monday to friday and if not I would always recover during the weekends, note that I drove the same car he has.
The best interview and the brother has a positive energy🤜🤛
💯
Its just pure money discipline and at least you have brought someone who is money disciplined..the others are like " i want to quit there is no money here" those are just bad energy
jamaa amechangamka.. lesson learnt usioe
😂😂
Hii life inataka watu kama hawa, coz even if the biz is tough there is always a breakthrough by the end of it,,,have a NYC day
The fact that he says he bought it new is quite amazing. I think that explains why the car is not in garage everytime. Second hand cars tend to be not so good. My thoughts tho.
This guy have positive energy 👏

Can 1000ccc model 2017 work well and is it fuel economical
Yes it can
One question if for small cars (650cc) uber only accepts cars 8 years old or less, If I Buy a car that is 8 years old is it only valid on the app for one year?Would I have to Sell it after 1 year?
I would recommend you to buy a 650cc that's 2016 onwards, that way you can do your business for even 3 years and by then if you're money disciplined, the car will have paid itself off if it's a loan.
@@alexytiki5736 so if I buy a 2016 car I am allowed to use it in Uber until when?
