@@kravahi5783 You'd think that after the Karda Nui story line, there would've been a bunch of shadow Toa and Matoran calling themselves the "successors" to the Brotherhood of Makuta.
@@ltb1345 yeah, there definitely could be, and it would be very cool, also if they had the Kra matoran in the story, do you think they could add a Kra toa, or would makuta just fill that role?
Contrary to a lot of the fandom, I'm actually glad Ahkmou never turned into a Toa of Shadow. It would be cool to have a Shadow Toa, but Ahkmou is more endearing as an evil Matoran character who was evil without having to be corrupted. Also, I remember Greg saying that Ahkmou never got punished for the Comet Kolhii balls, which sounds silly, but if you think about it he could just claim he was tricked by Makuta.
Gavla actually didn't change much as a shadow matoran, she was happy that the makuta actually valued her and loathed being turned back into an Av-Matoran. She probably would've joined them if they asked her, even if they didn't drain her light
@boogaloobender3462 Actually, in one of the Greg Posts, he says that's not the case, per se. She was just as brainwashed/forced as the other Shadow matoran, and she wasn't bad or evil before, but she was friendless, and her resistance to be cured is that while as shadow she though she felt useful for something, or "belonged" somewhere, even if it was a fake feeling that would have hurt her on the long run. If you want a Matoran that was the same as their original element or as shadow, you want Vultraz. Who was just as awful before as after he became shadow.
I always thought it was forboding when they throw the infected koli balls to sea, Ahkmou leaves a sign that says "Gone fishing" which made me think that he was actually going fishing to get the infected koli balls back! Probably not what happened but that's what it made me think
I really wished at the end of the mask if life saga, makuta imbued ahkmou of toa powers to "stall" them from mata nuis resurrection. Kinda like the 2nd to last boss before the true end boss of a video game
my guess is that Ahkmou probably got thrown in prison after the final battle. That's what I'd do. It was one thing to work under coercion for the Dark Hunters, another for him being brainwashed on Mata Nui, but excepting becoming the leader of Metru Nui during Teridax's reign and not helping the resistance, that 3rd one is him going too far as a traitor. I'd have loved it if Ahkmou had been turned into a Shadow Matoran. Would have been pretty cool for his story.
Despite having infected kanohi and shadow matorans, he was the only matoran willfully supported the makuta. If only we saw him turned into a shadow toa and maybe redeem him self as a toa of stone and shadow to aide the order of Mata nui. Also the blackface thing is a major stretch and sounds like people want to start a flame war.
Ahkmou means "Nightmare" in Japanese, which suits his personality, and He became a nightmare to Matorans of Metru nui when Makuta dominated Matoran universe.
