Nokama knew of where the mask came from which is from Metru Nui. However, at the time of the 2003 story, the Turaga were not ready to admit the truth which is why they covered it up. As for the quest, they had no idea that Jaller would die during the journey. It should also be said that although they seem to know about the prophecy of the seventh Toa, they had no clue that the destined wearer would be Takua. Since the Legend of the seventh Toa was passed down for so many centuries, none of them were really sure that this seventh Toa truly existed, but the Avohkii was kind of their "hint" at maybe the prophecy being true.
I know this is random, but I would love to see you come up Makooti’s mask as well as the Piraka version of the Ignika/Mask of Light that was seen in Bionicle Defenders.
Something that bugs with this mask is how does it enhance takanuva's powers? Sure, it gives to an individual the power of a Toa of Light, but Takua is already a Av-matoran. So, does it boost he's powers over his element and gives him more control or does it gives him exactly the same set of power that he already has? If it was like Hewkii mahrii who is a toa of stone and has a mask giving him the same powers has a toa of Gravity, I could understand the appeal. But, Takanuva is not a toa of fire who is given light powers by the Avohkii like I said.....
A thing to point out is that the Avohkii has more powers than simply the power over Light. It is able to create friendship and understanding towards others as well as sense a person's moral light. Greg was actually asked this specific question and looked at it in terms of Kanoka disks. Basically, if a Disk of Light was forged into a Mask of Light, that mask of light would not have the additional powers that the Avohkii has. Meaning, although the Avohkii would not enhance light power if the user already has light power, it has additional powers that make it a one of a kind and more powerful mask. Also, Takua is unaware that he is an Av-Matoran to begin with. Even if he had light powers, he does not know how to use them cause he always saw himself as a Ta-Matoran.
There is only one mask. However, since it is a great mask, it has the potential to turn into a noble mask. The noble mask has only shown up in alt universes like The Kingdom Alt universe.
They did not know. It is the reason why they sent Takua and Jaller on a journey to find the 7th Toa. The inscription in the mask only prophesied the coming of a 7th Toa and the defeat of darkness (as its purpose was to fight against the Makuta). Additionally, Takua's true nature of being an Av-Matoran was not known to the public so no one on the island of Mata Nui knew about this.
He did not use the mask to do it. It was the fusion of Takanuva and Makuta Teridax that resulted in this ability to manipulate the fusion's own lifeforce.
My personal favorite Kanohi design
Really love what you’re doing with the channel brother, appreciate it 👍🏽
Thank you for the support!
You mean nokama knew all along about the mask and anyway sent them into a quest where Jaller dies?

Awesome video keep up the good work

I'll consider it
@@amajanuitales Alrighty, thanks man!
Maybe the makooti mask would be good for an April fools video or something

Awesome as Always 👍
Mask of flashlight
wait, so it's a "one of a kind" mask, but there is still a great and Noble version of it? how?

I am Takanuva, Toa of Light.
*proceeds to give a Rahkshi a sunburn*
Takanuva fires his power at Kini Nui's head creating Takua's head (himself). Sadly pick up Jaller's dead body, and walking along with 6 Toa.
do the mask of shadow
There will be a video about the Kraahkan in the near future
@@amajanuitales Cool and thank you
I'm just wondering did Nokama and the other Turaga knew that Takua was destined to be the 7th Toa after reading the inscription inside the Avohkii?🤔

Wait, so why is the Stars version of the mask gray again?
He didn’t want to stick out as a Toa of Light during the battle and hid his identity.
You forgot to mention the fact that he resurrected Joller at the end of the movie using it.
He did not use the mask to do it. It was the fusion of Takanuva and Makuta Teridax that resulted in this ability to manipulate the fusion's own lifeforce.
