Very in depth tutorial/guide! I can't thank you enough for this. I wasn't good at dribbling and nearly never used it, only tried it offline sometimes or i'd get dribbled the whole time by online players wondering how they did it. I have been practicing all day offline with this tutorial open on my 2nd monitor, and went and did some online games after and immediately greatly improved my rating and gameplay! Great vid. Really breaks down the mechanics so you can think of the game more technically. I find I play best when I get into a flow state but tend to think too much about using skill moves in the perfect situation.
Good video, but it's hard for me to understand which button is which as someone who converts from PES. I changed the buttons to be more or less similar to what it was like in PES, like switching the Sprint button into R1/RB for example.
Sorry dude but if this mechanic is in the game it's supposed to be used. This game is nothing like real life so you should use everything it gives you. If you don't other players will and you'll get frustrated.

No, I haven't thought about it before. Some movement is based on what I see (how the opponent wants to get to the ball, how can I turn away). Some other movement is baiting. I do turns to bait the opponents so they try to get to the ball. So sometimes I know before what I want to do, because you have the experience on how the opponent will react to it. If that makes sense.
It might have something to do with reciever lock, you can have late or early reciever lock in the settings

That's great but everyone I get matched up against plays constant pressure, 2nd man presses and slide tackles me b4 I have chance to pass....... Game is trrash
