@andthemushrooms123 Yeah, I noticed that with SOAD and KORN. Jd and Serj's voices seemed to sound a little strained during some songs. Makes me wonder if they too go without doing vocal warm ups and exercises. They are both amazing singers; I love the sound of their voices. No one wants to hear them, or ANY singer sound as though they have to struggle through a performance.

@andthemushrooms123 Yeah. I've seen a vid on RUclips where a singer said thats one of the things that professional singers neglect - vocal exercises.

@REIREI29 Yeah thats true, my aunt's a singer and she told me how to breathe, which helped me a lot. I can't usually be bothered doing vocal exercises but they're probably a good idea XD

@REIREI29 Thats what i thought when i heard the newer SOAD and KORN live performances, they seem to be slightly losing the power to do the heavier sounding vocals, they still sound really amazing though, which shows how naturally talented they are, but it's a shame they're losing their voices, who knows though, they might get it back.

@andthemushrooms123 Yes, I suppose so. Though, I do need to know the right way to breathe. And vocal exercises. I'm fairly certain those will help me.

@REIREI29 Thats probably right, id have thought most professional singers just love the actual performance and their songs themselves, so the exercises get boring...it's probably best to do warm ups though, if I'm practicing singing i won't start with a song with lots of high notes, cos its not good for your voice apparently.

@andthemushrooms123 It's amazing what professional singers negelct. I guess perhaps they just get over confident in their talent, and don't think that they need any vocal warm ups or exercises. Then, when they end up sounded like shit during a concert, they'll take a break. They'll stop singing for awhle. I myself, would do vocal warm ups and exercises before each performance, and every morning when I awaken, to ensure that I don't ever loose my voice.

@REIREI29 You don't need vocal lessons! I only had like 4 XD Just keep on practicing and develop the notes you find easy first then build up to doing the ones you find hard, e.g. higher and lower notes, then get them sounding strong , you can train yourself :)

@REIREI29 Maybe so...or maybe they're lazy and forgetful...thats why i don't do them XD but in all seriousness you do notice with some bands their singer's voice will deteriorate and it's really sad to see; you think maybe if they just warmed up their voice they'd still be able to sing well. And thats a good idea :)
