I also don't like this comeback as much as their previous ones but I do like the song "Eyes roll". Personally I wouldn't buy an album if I don't like all of the songs or most of the songs🥲
Yess I agree.. but I just pre ordered it before all songs were there 😩 and then I thought "well, even though the songs don't grow on me that much, I hope to get a photobook with some of the "I do" MV concept" ... Well.. I'm not lucky at all 😂 but I loooove the photocards!! 😍

That was the point of the album, to get on the US XD thats it.

For the music, it's their english debut, so of course its going to be missing the typical korean. It wasn't written or produced by Soyeon, so it's missing her touch. Of course it's more american to appeal to that audience but in my opinion they did really well! The songs were all unique, yet flow well together if you're listening to the album on loop. Honestly with english releases, I always expect a little switch of style because companies are always messing around with their groups' concepts during other language releases, but I think they did really well. None of the songs are crazy good, but the vocals, dance, and overall is nice. I wish we got more rap like you said- that's one Soyeon touch I would've really loved.
Anyways, I agree with you on the album details, the lack of inclusions brings down the hype and I think this comeback has been barely promoted and not getting a ton of attention.

Thank you so much for your opinion and I have to agree with you. I think I have to look at it from a "stranger" perspective and leave my feelings out for a moment. Yes the album is great, but not crazy good as you said. And yes of course it's an English EP, there is no korean... But I miss their touch so much still 😭 if I listen to the songs without thinking it's (G)i-dle they're good songs. But.. yeah it's hard to think like that 😂🙈
I think my opinion on their English ep has a lot to do with feelings towards the group itself and their normal songs, I wish that soyeon would've been at least part of the album creation. I think it would have been a perfect album that way 😩
And ngl the more I listen to the songs the better they get 🙈
