My thoughts about the debacle.

all contries should boycott Miss Universee because of the crazy/lunatic owner named MR. Anne Jukrajutatip. Who is also "not" real a woman at all and he doesn't know the real essense of being a woman.
With this leaked video, they will find it hard to find sponsors. You are right, it detracts from the women and the winners. Why would women want to be a part of this kind of drama? it's a fixed pageant.

The truth is, we never had an overweight winner not because the rules said we can't, but the judges never chose one, and judges on the local and national level rarely chose one either. All I heard was "they can compete but they cannot win". So use critical thinking instead of knee jerking into a reaction. What does Anne meant by that? What was the context? They cannot win because the organization WILL NOT LET THEM WIN, or she is stating the obvious, the judges will not choose a transgender or married contestant the way they historically never chose plus sized delegates? When MU first allowed transgenders, that was what I said, they can compete but they are not going to win because the judges will not choose them. The truth is, despite the martial, age, and biology qualifications are lifted, the judges still judge as if they are still in place.
Excellent point indeed but if the judges got together and, for example, chose a plus sized model, would that diminish the brand? Just wondering what you think. Thank you for your comment.

I think the problem is the owner kahit na Ikaw ay ng-effort para manalo sa miss universe lahat Ng award na Sayo na pero Hindi type ni haluu universe sorry ka na lang talo kna. Siguro masmaiging wag na mgpadala Ng kinatawan or Hindi na sumali sa pageant na yan sila sila na lang sumali para sila na lang Ang palaging panalo .

Let's not revise history. For the majority of its history, it was never an advocacy pageant and was about entertainment. It had charities that its titleholders participated in but it never needed its contestants to bring their own bullshit advocacy on the table. It started with the IMG, which lasted less than a decade. The fact the IMG failed to make it profitable for them to hang on to it said that it damaged the brand under their watch.
@@PungiFungi yes indeed it is but at least it doesn't come to this point where you will used other people and make it looked like they're accepted and included while the truth is your only using them, to make them think that they can win the crown and ended up disappointed and discouraged coz of the leaked video scandal of the new COE just to make money out of the pageant that many people looked up too. You can't deny that the pageant started as entertainment has become a platform of advocacy. You may think that this pageant is just an entertainment but for the ladies who are pushing their advocacy to help their organizations and charities is something that you can't belittle.
