I love how Gary wasn't bitter. He was actually stoked and looking forward to Babin killing the game after he leaves. You NEVER see this kind of separation between employee/employer, EVER.
That's because most people want you to slave for them, and real bosses like Gary would rather see someone who they actually like to grow past them, and do better things in life

Sounds like he made the necessary moves before for certainty. I’m at a similar crossroads where I felt I’ve hit my ceiling and my move would be running my own business creating content, but I don’t feel I can make that move until I have the clients. Choosing the chance to make more money over a guaranteed paycheck is very difficult especially when I have a family to provide for. I know I just have to jump and the right time will show it’s face when the time is right. Good luck!

I quit my job as a civil engineer, on Sunday I'll move from Italy to Toronto to make videos. I'm going all in...and I've never feel better.
I'm curious. What inspired the move/ decision. Most people would run away from Toronto to Italy, just for what they think is the European (Italian) lifestyle.
@@crissbaez2656 I just published a video on my channel in which I explain why I'm doing this. Basically I choose Toronto because I want to improve my English and I want to meet other English creators (where I live in Italy I'm literally the only one that makes videos).

I can relate Tyler, I quit my graphic design job at Herschel Supply Co to move to Nova Scotia, where I found employment at the crappiest (only) design studio in the middle of nowhere. It was hard, but a necessary step to land where I am now, as a self employed videographer / designer who's never been happier. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure great things will come from this decision!

The jump to move from Chi to LA to pursue dreams & opportunities. People dont get it, people always say "you can do the same thing there, but here" but its not the same. The type of growing that your sub-conscious wants you to do is different. You feel like youre hitting a ceiling, a wall, something that doesnt necessarily hinder your growth, but slows it down. You speak volumes babin, youve gained a loyal subscriber. thanks for this bro!

Damn bro, I just dropped out of school too because I wasn’t feeling like it was the right move. I felt like I could do more too. But now that I’ve dropped out, I’m lost again and I just don’t know what to do. But I’m still happier than when I was stressing over something that I wasn’t really even passionate about. I’m just lost on where to start. But watching this video man, motivates me to do anything even if it isn’t the right move, because it’s better than nothing.
