Love your content! You guys do such a great job breaking down the logic behind the job and sharing insights from data experts-it’s so valuable. As a data analyst myself, your videos actually inspired me to make my first RUclips video! Would love to see you cover how to level up from mid-level to senior roles and beyond-what skills or mindset shifts really make the difference?

    Hello Avery,
    When coming to resume:
When transitioning from academia to industry for data analyst roles, which is more important for a one-page resume: including a summary highlighting my analytical skills or focusing on projects and work experience directly related to data analysis?

Statement 2 about AI not taking jobs is a lie. A blatant lie. AI “will” replace employee counts. Period.
When I started as an analyst 10 years ago, I came into a company where my group of analysts was 20 strong. I was the only one in the group that could do the work strictly with SQL. everyone else was committed to MS Access. I am the only one from that group of 20 left in the team. I literally coded all of them out of their jobs. I used SQL and SSIS to automate everything. All of their work was consumed by my code. And what is a “job” in SSIS? We call them bots 🤖. AI.
Don’t believe me? Research how scared data engineers are right now about AI. Why? Cause they see the writing in the wall.
If you want to stay an analyst and make good money, learn how to teach bots 🤖 to do work in automation.
AI will take away jobs. Period.

Hello, thank you for the amazing video. However, I would like to ask why there are no women in that video. That’s one of the reasons I am learning to become a Data Analyst. I realized there are many brilliant men, but no women😊

To be perfectly honest, I just included data RUclipsrs in this one. And I’ve asked the bigger female data RUclipsrs to come on the show, but they haven’t made it on yet
