I have been to all of the places listed. That being said I took a rough spill off half moon 20 years ago. It's really not an area for tourists. Having been a seasoned backpacker and climber it's not for people who don't have experience in those types environments.
@dangerousnatureous not much info to be had. Everybody is meeting at hansons point tomorrow afternoon. Usually around the last big camp spot. Not exactly sure on time. Just whenever you get out there.
Just about every year somebody dies in a fall in the Gorge. I've personally known two who have died that way. If you are a novice, don't attempt these without someone who knows the routes and perils and you'd better be in really good physical condition, too.
It's about the same with Hocking Hills here in Ohio, though I would guess more deaths occur at Red River. These places are so beautiful but they can also be deadly. I agree that novices shouldn't attempt these trails.
Nice compilation of highlights. Your high grip foot gear (barefeet} seem to lead you to the most smiles and fun.
Thanks! Ha ha excellent grip on that sandstone out there! People don't realize it's good for the sole and the soul.
Beautiful! Good video, man! Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed! 🙏💚
Thanks for picking up other peoples trash. I try to do that everytime I visit and its annoying it has to be done.
Pretty crazy that in 2024 people are still throwing their trash on the ground! Thanks for doing the same! 💚🌱
great meeting you this past weekend !
It was great meeting you and everyone else as well! If I hadn't been meeting some people to climb I would've hung out the next day.
