You say Elvis would love this. I don’t wish to upset anyone, but I doubt it. This cover is more like the original, unlike Elvis’s version, which doesn’t properly convey the emotions of the song as intended by the original artist.
As an old Elvis fan who lived thru his life and early death, I saw his name take so much abuse. He was called a racist and a pirate of black music which is untrue. When he died every single member of his inner circle wrote a tell all book and made millions off his name. Old, fat guys in Vegas who think they look like him have made their living off his name. This young lady is truly talented but I think she needs to stop using his name to further her career. She needs to create her own style.

Rob Christie is the pianist. Twice Grammy winner. He is Angelina's mentor at Republic Records .. although I heard that once somebody introduced him like that and he said .. "No .. that isn't so .. it is she who is my mentor. " He is a brilliant pianist and has accompanied Angelina in quite a few covers and a couple of originals (Million Miles and 7th Heaven?)

Being a musician for all of my adult life & an Angelina fan here's another fun fact that I noticed.
Angelina's guitar was NOT a PROP as some reactors have commented. She used it to honor Elvis. He used that guitar model in his '68 TV Comeback Special. A Hagstrom '67 Viking II Hollowbody Transparent Wild Cherry.
The hair is tribute to Lisa Marie Presley and someone mention about the girls, which is correct but also not said is that Angelina's grandma produced this video and all the girls are her grand daughters the oldest being her 11yr old little sister .. grandma also illustrated Angelina's book she wrote when she was around 8 ,,,

She’s wearing black leather like Elvis and when she’s not singing she’s wearing blue suede boots.🤟💕 I recommend you go back and listen to Elvis version. I also like Elvis‘s In The ghetto.

Do me a favour and listen to the original by Elvis, then listen to her rendition a few more times and make a qualified decision after that. The way I see it, Angelina is the greatest female singer you'll ever hear. But that's just me. LOL

You say Elvis would love this. I don’t wish to upset anyone, but I doubt it. This cover is more like the original, unlike Elvis’s version, which doesn’t properly convey the emotions of the song as intended by the original artist.

As an old Elvis fan who lived thru his life and early death, I saw his name take so much abuse. He was called a racist and a pirate of black music which is untrue. When he died every single member of his inner circle wrote a tell all book and made millions off his name. Old, fat guys in Vegas who think they look like him have made their living off his name. This young lady is truly talented but I think she needs to stop using his name to further her career. She needs to create her own style.
