I run 2013 724E its my 4th in my 10 years of running one. My first was 726D now that was a stump maker!! I have ran john deer's, hydro ax, cat, day in and day out you just can't beat TIGERCAT. Thinning or clear cut hard to keep with 724E TIGERCAT 5500 head.

The rows were cut during the current thinning cycle. The operator cuts the entire rows first and comes back and cuts in between rows.

Does this mean I can run my 720e with wide range in high gear while cutting or leave it in low gear and use the wide range system?

If your 720E has WideRange, there is no high an low gear. It is a single range transmission.
