Continuing from your other video about this bike, you seem to double down on wrong. Do your research. Horsepower is always advertised and compared to other bikes at the crankshaft, and it is 84hp. Another problem with your information is the valve clearance inspection. The manual says 15,000 miles, not 7500. Get it right. Unfortunately, people listen to your statements and assume they are factual. Sorry, I know this post probably sounds a little hostile toward you, but it is your responsibility to be accurate. Don't do reviews if you don't want to do the research. Not just hearsay?... Is that where you're getting your info?
I heard 70HP and thought that couldn't be right. That would be less than all the others in this class (Versys, Tiger 660, old V-Strom...) Thanks for posting.
This channel has always mentioned wheel horse power figures for every bike, that's hardly misleading Good catch on the valve inspection interval though
@@NalinKhurb Then you should say rear wheel hp. Everyone else goes by crank and most say so. Unless Suzuki changed their TFT, I don't believe there is Bluetooth either. I agree about the bike though, they are nice!

36mpg is considered good fuel economy? My main gripe with my 08 650 is that I only get 36-40 mpg. I thought these newer parallel twins were supposed to be more efficient

But it seems like regardless, if I've put a lot of miles on a tank around town, or just cruising on the highway, I'm still in the 40mpg or less range. I have gotten higher when highway riding at 65 mph and taking it easy in the twisties but that's hard to do unless I'm riding with a slow buddy. And are you using the trip computer on the bike? You're mis-informed. Right from my owners manual... First valve inspection: 15,000 miles. Also, most V-Strom 800 owners are getting mid 40s or better for MPG. I remember when Motorcyclist and Cycle World were the gold standard for accurate motorcycle information.
36 MPG is terrible, my 25-year-old BMW 1150 would get 40 miles to the gallon. A Suzuki V Strom 650, one that I just had a year ago would get 52 miles per gallon.
Yeah this is absolute bs, same with my 2018 AT, it has ride by wire but no cruise. They have no excuse for it other than, "buy our most expensive model to get basic comfort features"
There's rider reports that it has horrible handle bar vibes at highway speeds, can cook your right foot and the led lights are crap at night. Hmm. It's an interesting bike but I might wait a couple of years for to be ironed out.
It's fuckin suzuki it is the best you gonna get for next 20 years for price of new AT deal with it 😂. After 20yeaes you gonna get amazing update - anniversary edition with new exciting.... paint job 😂😂😂
Great review Adam! I love the engine as my wife has an 8r. She lets me ride it every once in a while. She routinely gets mid sixties mpg. I would think the V Storm is capible of near that if ridden carefully.
thank god for suzuki.. still making decent reliable no frills bikes
Im on my second recall for the same issue ( Brake Master Cylinder ) on my Hayabusa 2022 so i wonder about reliability.....

Can’t call it “Touring” without cruise control….
You can't call it a motorcycle if it has cruise control

U also get the hand guards , right?
Thanks, how many rpm at 60 in top gear?
4,500

How is it's heat management? The DE model is reported as throwing a lot of heat on your legs, but that may be from the bash plate trapping heat.
