- Lots to cover today! The remains of Booster 11 return to Starbase, and SpaceX launch Crew 9 to the International Space Station and another Starlink mission, but unfortunately have had to ground Falcon 9 due to a second stage issue. Over in Asia, both Japan and China launched payloads to space, with Japan launching the IGS Radar 8 satellite, and China launching over 10 different satellites across 3 launches of 3 different rockets, including 1 launch from the South China Sea! All of this and much more, enjoy!

Brainrot has made it into spaceflight we're doomed
Nowhere is safe
It’s officially on the same tier as a Jojo’s reference. You can’t escape it.
I missed, where was it??

The usage of brainrot in space worries me.

Spacex better beware of the FAAnum tax 😭🤚

I'm worried about this phrase 'mass simulator'. I'm pretty sure they're using completely real mass.
Ain't no way, SIGMA??? I love spaceY
SpaceZ
Yeah SpaceA is very innovative 💡
What is spaceX doing? there have been so many anomalies in such a short amount of time
I think they are putting their rockets through more strain to avoid future unexpected complications but the FAA is being a jack in the ass
@@varietyegg As a SpaceX intern with many connections within the company, that's not entirely true.
@@ThePhantomRocket What is true 👀📷
@@varietyegg for the most part I agree, but when your rocket lands outside of the exclusion zone, public safety is at risk. So this time the FAA would be right to ground them if they hadn't already grounded themselves.
Space is hard, and realistically none of their recent issues have been that large of an issue. One engine malfunction which is kind of a given when you produce this many engines, and one off-course re-entry, which is still being investigated but may also be an engine issue. This is another second stage, which is the same as the issue previously. This will help SpaceX narrow down the problem, which is probably a small manufacturing issue, resolve it, and get back to normal ops.
I just can't stress how much better my Mondays get when another Space This Week drops! ❤
Never thought I'd hear an astronaut say "sigma" in that context, that's hilarious
we got astronauts saying "sigma" in space in before GTA6 !!!

Just imagine all those Chinese salvage ships turning around in the Panama Isthmus as they watch the SpaceX recovery operation continue successfully.
Received my Flight 5 patch today ! Thanks NASASpaceflight. Keep up the good work !

God damnit. Can't come to space creator day AGAIN despite it only being like 3 hours by car from where I live. That weekend I'm on another community convention in Hamburg...
Engineering is awesome. Look at those two huge structures. Perfectly parallel to each other
very cool Matt. Hope you'll have a good time in germany. Would love to meet you there and have a little chat. Been watching your videos since 7 years now. I'll bring a beer if I make it :)

i hope the 2 crew member said: "you guys called an uber?" when entering the ISS
Not so much an issue for Falcon but more significantly what happens when Starship goes off-nominal?
I am quite sure you are underestimating your cats and that there will be a space news video next week.
You coming to Germany? I'll catch up with you
Perfect sounds like a lot of good news to me all around. Finally getting some good competition developing in the space program. In theory everything if it goes right we should be able to get through International cooperation Supreme decent spacecraft that we could only dream of in science fiction. Probably a lot safer too.👌
3 Falcon 9 groundings in the span of 3 months. What the hell is SpaceX doing?!?!
And 2 of them were of the 2nd stage
So cool video out for minutes! Thanks for the updates and great content 🇺🇸💪
I was expecting brainrot to stay on Earth until at least the 2030s. Oof
4:32 at the bottom left what’s that spinning? Starlink satellite?
Looks like the boosters are starting to show their launch number limits finally. 15-20 launches per falcon 9 booster is already amazing. I wonder if SpaceX is going to remedy the issues to certify them for 30+ launches or if they're going to put boosters to rest at 20 for mechanical reasons.
The latest anomaly was with the second stage and those are always new and used once.
Great to hear you're visiting our country. Too bad I won't have time
Well death k happened already after this vid uploaded
It is a minor hiccup should be up and rolling in a couple of days 😊
“Sigma” 💀 4:33
The Greek symbol not the brainrot
Like sigma 7 in project mercury! And by the way that was a great mission
@@goldgamercommenting2990 The full quote is "I think my youngest son said it was sigma," so it was brainrot, although quoting his son and not actually using it
I've completely missed the reference, anyone care to explain the brainrot and Sigma?
Newspeech gibberish of young ones. New one same as the old one. And toilet humour memes.
We got brainrot in space before GTA 6

What is the piece of Debris spinning in the bottom right of the screen at 4:39? looks pretty close and it doesn't look to me like part of Dragon, or the upper stage of falcon 9?
Its a piece of ice.
@@luftwaffles1944 Interesting, I've never seen that before, thanks!

didn’t know roscosmos was flying cosmonauts on dragon that’s awesome!
It's an ongoing partnership some US astronauts fly on soyuz and in exchange some cosmonauts fly on US launch vehicles
As KiRiTO72987 said, it's ongoing seat swaps. That way if a crew has to leave early for an emergency like an illness/injury, there is someone from the other side still on the ISS.
Welcome to the Elon Musk propaganda channel.
Good morning 🌞🌞
Accept yalla Habibi it ok no broblem

I hate that the faa just hates the starship
The FAA hates musk supporting Trump because the FAA is corrupt
SpaceX employee here:
thats not what it is.
Enlighten us then if you dare.
@@4DCResinSmoker If you look at the content and tone of Elon's tweets in the last year generally, you can imagine what the back and forth communication between him and the FAA is like. The biggest booster in history is going to be coming back to the launch site, which is near a popular beach, a city, a foreign nation, and an environmental preserve. They need to evaluate the flight plan and contingencies to be sure the booster doesn't end up blowing up on beach goers in south padre, on the city of Brownsville, on Mexico, or the preserve. I imagine when they ask for details they often get an email from Elon with something like "WHY ARE YOU WOKE" which delays things more.
@@JackMott Well that still assumes a lot, just taking the back and forth between SpaceX and the FAA as a snapshot for what's truly going on. Besides, Jack, your tone suggests you knew, as if you were a man in the middle. Which clearly is not the case here. Regardless, the FAA's stance is a bureaucratic one, which historically has deep intwined political forces as well. Which more than suggests that someone in the loop could be leaning on SpaceX. If that's for political reasons or to lend advantage to Blue Origin has yet to be seen yet. Though I expect for Blue Origin to have no problems with the FAA. Such to suggest that (possibly) JB has a either earned or paid for the political "favors" in advance of the first launch. Unlike Musk who's arrogance hasn't made him many friends on either side of the political spectrum.
I can’t believe Elon is canceling Star Ship production in 2026
What i like is spaceX transpercy and safety because they grounded themselves to find problems early🎉
dang, 49 secs ago
is starlink in profit what with all the launches?
What does the number of launches have to do with profit? It is even better to launch more; economy of scale
@Jeb_bezos because it's the cost of lanches and starlink vs is enough people buying them? . I was curious from a UK perspective nobody apart from the on travaler, campervan, or statics is buying them.
Wondering how much blue origin and boeing are paying to faa for those all delays for spaceX
🙄🤡 The FAA didn't make the off-nominal deorbit burn happen, so that the debris landed out of the exclusion zone. What happened to SpaceX fans, so now that they believe conspiracy bs? Don't follow Musk into madness.
