Your demos are always very good. Thank you! I do find it a pity when you say, "What happens when you increase the force of gravity?" at 0:35 I know what you mean, as you increase the component along the slope, but of course you do not increase the force of gravity.
Bruh I wish I never said Me: I'll watch it My class:Don't watch it😑😑 Me when I watch it:I shouldn't have lessoned to u guys😶😶😶😖😞😓😥😣😩😫 Next day:I'm sick of it🤧🤒🤕🥴😵🥵🥶🤐
I am a physics prof and wanted to clarify one thing. The force of gravity acting on the wooden block IS NOT getting stronger when the surface is tilted. Strictly speaking, it is getting a little WEAKER because the block is moved away from Earth (remember Fg=G m1m2/r^2?), although this change is tiny an can be completely ignored. What IS, indeed, BECOMING LARGER on a steeper slope is the projection of the gravity force onto the slope. The projection is zero for a horizontal surface and it grows with the tilt angle, eventually exceeding the static friction force. It is then that the sliding motion begins.
Welcome to distance learning everyone. I am an educator looking for resources for my students. Yes, there will be more my teacher made me do it!
Bruh--our teachers made us watch this..
Dude you’re soooooo right
Mine too 😭
Yay your right

I think Mr. Jared is one of the best science teachers in the world.
my teacher made me watch it for year 4 science
Yep same

it’s the teacher making us do this for science for me 💀
Me too

This is 7 yrs ago but this is the best explanation about friction I love this so much thank you for making this video ❤️☺️
Glad it was helpful!
i have to watch this for my science homework
I love this video and happy new years!!!!!!!!
i needed help so i came here:D
This help me in do my project very much
You explained this so beautifully! Thank you for your help!

My teacher made me watch this for science in year 4
thank you sir and good day
Thx a lot! You helped me with my science class!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
1:33 when you try to do something fun
Thanks this helps me very much to perform activity in school on force of friction 🙏🙏❤❤❤

when the body is at rest ,n no applied force is there then what is the value of friction.
Great explanation. 👌
My son loves this video!
My teacher is making me watch this in year 7.
Thanks so much
I had to watch that for science 🥲❌
1:44 WOW XD

@@headlightspirits the time difference lmao
That was really easy to understand
Thanks a lot I couldn't understand
why did you comment
I had to watch this for science
Who’s here from online school
Well guess I'm passing Physics (sighs in gratefulness)

Same over hear i had to watch this for science
The "force of gravity" is us experiencing a curved time dimension
Thx my teacher sent me this project and now I know the answers!

thanks so much! this really helped with my science assessment! science is awesome!!! :)
our teacher made us watch this soooooo funnnn whit science, btw from sweden
I had to watch this for science great job my friend
Very nice
Thanks for watching!
It's very stunning

Thank you so much it really helped
I love this video❤️
Hello classmates that look in the comments this is Cole

Amo tus videos, por favor ponles subtitulo en español. Para poder enviarlos a mis estudiantes. Están geniales!!
Online classes anyone?

Good
This was helpful. i have to write a worksheet on it and i don't like science but this was very easy too learn from
I kinda like this this is just like doug
Sir can u do it with steel plate please now I want it for my school activity please....
My science teacher also made me watch this
why did the aluminum foil block slide down first??
friction introduces force. No. Gravity introduces force, resisted by mechanical interference
Um this video was pretty good
good fun about friction keep countinue
I watched this in science And im on zoom right now
Thank you sir
incorrect, the force of friction in that instance was equal to the force down the ramp due to gravity, hence why the block did not move.
the lighting in this video looks like the office uk

Yes now my concepts are clear bcz I have done ✅ practice on it like examples of cardboard anyone here with clear concept...
Thanks mate, really helped,(I think)
Yes my teacher also
