Actually a pretty average shack these days and not fancy compared to the nice ones. They have showers and toilets and king size beds, and you push a button to lower them instead of a crank, in the real nice ones it would blow your mind.

Just wanted to comment on your heater problems. I don't know maybe you know this, but when it gets better cold, LP gas will not vaporize. Your furnace only Burns vapor. So when you turned on your other tank it was full that vaporizes easier, when it's full. It's always good to have a spare full tank with you or they do make a blanket that's electric that will warm that to keep it vaporizing. Otherwise good video, no matter if you catch fish or not it's a good time .thumbs up to you guys.

I lived on Leech Lake but used to go ice fishing all winter. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Blessings We had two heat sources a wood stove & propane tanks! During the fishing derby’s people had hot tubs on the ice!

My daughter was renting a beautiful condo where we later found the carbon monoxide detector didn’t work & she is alive but was exposed for a year to carbon monoxide from a gas fire place. She developed Traumatic Brain Injury. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and has now developed severe memory problems at 35 yrs old along with several severe allergies to foods & products used in homes and on the body. It has been a frightening experience to say the least. 🙏🙏🙏Blessings

I started ice fishing sitting on a plastic bucket out on a lake in Minnesota. The following year moved up to a tent. The year after that an Ice house....then fancier ice houses with Barcaloungers, TV and stereos...ohh...and beers.
Y'all caught a lot of fish! I've been watching ice fishing for over 20 years off and on, this is the most fish that I have ever seen anyone or group caught! I've enjoyed watching!

Come up & enjoy it!!! You’ll be warm as toast & have the best of both worlds. There are guide services that will help you. You can stay overnight on the lake if you want.
When you pulled that fish out of the fryer, I couldn't help but think of my dad who loved fried perch. He was 95 when he died and up to his last year, if it was on the menu, he would order it. He did a lot of fishing in his lifetime. It's what got his family through the Depression when he was a kid. Thanks for the memories 😊
@TinyCabinLife I used to make similar trips w the guys on my hockey team. Everybody brought something different to the camp. One was good at grilling, one at baking one was good w camp set up Yes we even got in some fishing.
headed up to red next weekend with 3 buddies, one of whom has a 2-axle castle. we gather every year for a weekend and one of our buddies even flies in from vegas for this annual weekend. good times with good friends and you cant beat it!! fishing out of a castle! the outdoor latrine is a must. great vid!
Let your buddy know that regulator on his propane tanks are auto switch over. So as long as both tanks are open and the lever is on either left or right tank it automatically switches. Mine is the same way

I sure don't get the allure of fishing in a well-appointed cabin. Doesn't seem like sport somehow. Maybe I'm just used to those pics of the Alaskan sitting near an open hole in the ice. Still glad y'all had fun.
There certainly are different ways to do it and we’ve done them all too. It’s more than just catching fish though. We enjoyed hanging out together in there 👍🏽
I live in southern Iowa by the largest lake in the state. It's not been nearly cold enough to freeze much though I have seen a few out there ice fishing.
I would definitely try ice fishing myself. It looks like a lot of fun. It would be cool if you and the family spent a few days on a house boat and fished. Although not a house boat, I had a friend who's parents owned a yacht. I spent a few days on it when I was a kid.
That is the Rolls Royce of fishing cabins…..I love the fact that Grumpy Old Men was on the tv in the background the first night…..awesome 👍🏻
