These elevators are quite nice. About the taken date, over midnight? Also, awesome fedora. I recently started wearing them after I saw The Adjustment Bureau (awesome movie).
I have the official dates: July 25, 1962 - Ground is broken on the Sheraton Boston August 11, 1964 - Sheraton completes North Tower, an American Elm is lifted 300 feet high in a traditional ceremony November 19, 1975 - Sheraton completes the South Tower, adding 430 rooms June 5, 1988 - Sheraton completes a complete hotel renovation including the modernization of the elevators
@revo8778 The hall lanterns are Haughton. Those are also not 1960's Otis bells (like the North Tower has). Both banks eventually got modded by Schindler-Haughton, destroying the evidence of the original fixtures. KONEelevman is right too - the South Tower was added on later.
@revo8778 We went through a process of elimination. Those fixtures are not original Otis and at the time these were modded, Westinghouse would not have used that digital indicator with the little arrow. In the end, it could be all just a couple weird Otis mods. The hall buttons in the North Tower are obviously Otis (polished brass protruding w/ halo). The weirdest part of this whole mystery is the N Tower express elevators, which don't match either bank and have a bigger indicator on the side.
Door close = "GREETINGS FROM NY" :D

These are actually Haughton installed a little later than the North Tower Elevators.
@revo8778 Actually these installed around the same time. The door track is a Haughton and the Lanterns.

@KONEelevatorman111 Actually no, I was wrong again, these were installed later. (lol)
@ElevatingBoston I knew that the South tower was newer, but a Schindler-Haughton mod? Where does that come from?
@KONEelevatorman111 Source?
