firstly, great video especially the values trick. second, I didn't find it hard to follow your voiceover at all BUT it did get a lil chaotic around tip 4/5 which is maybe what that person was talking about lol but I don't mind when these kinds of videos aren't totally polished. but finally what I really want to add is it would have been awesome if you elaborated more on tip 4--you talked about choosing the colors for your values but it would have helped if you pointed at your colors you were using and literally were like, these are my highlights, these are my midtones, etc. hearing a concept is one thing but your thought process as you're implementing it is more helpful. maybe in a future one pls! I adore your use of colors
Great work, but your speech seems to be a little bit confusing for me. As I am losing the point 😬Sorry to say that,I’m not the native speaker, I will try to rewatch it with subtitles.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts! 😊 I totally get where you’re coming from, and hopefully I can help clear it up a little so the rewatch makes more sense lol One tip I shared that might make things clearer is about using color values when creating more colorful drawings. Instead of sticking to what you see in a photo, you can look at the lightness or darkness of colors and pair that with an equally light or dark color of a different color (like using dark purple instead of black for shadows) A quick trick is to use your phone to help spot the values-it’s super helpful! I hope this makes things easier to follow. Let me know if you have any questions; I’d be happy to help!
That came out very beautiful!
