    My bands:
    / abortedofficial
    / hideousdivinity
    - for skype lessons, my nickname is Stefano Franceschini 2589
    There's no need to introduce this song - hands down one of the finest creations by the greatest tech metal band in history imo. This is my own interpretation of the song, mostly done by ear.
    I'm exclusively and proudly endorsed by Valenti Guitars, Darkglass Electronics, Algam Benelux and D'Addario Strings.
    Hope you'll enjoy it!
    Thanks to Enrico Schettino (Hideous Divinity) and Dema Novakova for the assistance in the production of the footage.

    I’m not a bass player, a drummer actually, and I was curious to see what it’s like for someone to actually play the guitar and bass parts for any necrophagist song, and holy hell am I impressed!! How do you play that clean to an insane song like this???

      Years of practice. Playing for hours on end, increasing finger speed, precision, endurance and honing finger plucking technique. All takes time and practice and keeping up with it too. If you dont use it,eventually you lose it. Most Death Metal musicians are regular guys with normal jobs that pay the bills and make this music for fun. Unless youre Cannibal Corpse or Morbid Angel, there isnt a lot of money to be made in this music. Its easy to lose it if youre on a long break not playing shows/touring, recording and doing normal adult things in its place

      @bloodwings6669 Год назад

      @@Headbanger9000 bro are you fucking serious? do you play guitar? it took me a little more than two years to pull of this song, stabwound, on electric guitar and much less than one third of those two years was spent on this song. years of practice? no. determination? yes. definitely. years is silly. all technical guitar playing are the same finger movement, the guitar just has frets and strings, there isnt much diversity in difficulty. meaning that once you master one song you can master many others at this same difficulty in seconds. and falling out because of time spent away from guitar? maybe if your a weak musician. you shouldnt forget what you know over a short period of time. i should know. i play guitar. it so simple it only took me two years to figure this out.

      You're welcome. Do you have a tab for this available by chance? Also to my knowledge you are the first person I've seen who actually nailed that intro solo. You nailed the entire song but specifically that tapping solo. I've seen so many other people go at it with sweeping in mind and never came close to that crazy tap dance you pulled off. Seriously so well done.

  • @comrademod4503
    @comrademod4503 4 года назад

    Nice cover Stephen! I have to warn you about the way you are playing though, your right hand specifically. I know playing the bass is really comfortable this way (crossed legs) because it is really easy on your left hand and the fretboard is really close to you, tapping is easier etc. I was playing like this for many years. You may not feel anything now but if you keep it up you may develop severe pain in your right wrist, I had to stop playing for atleast a year to allow my wrist to heal. It's not worth it trust me.
    Other than that keep up the good work!

    • @StephenHideous
      @StephenHideous  6 лет назад +2

      SamuraiBass right hand is basically a matter of practice and you just need to get warmed up enough during practice. Once you feel your fingers could do the 'walking by themselves', increase time speed a bit. Also alternate index and middle starting with one first then the second (aka, 121212121212 / 212121212121).

    • @StephenHideous

      It would be very problematic as the solo section hits very high notes, thus making it necessary to use the g string. Plus some of the patters would be weird with open strings (playing the open detunee E string for example)
