- Probably the most expensive Gujarati Thali ive had not only in Ahmedabad, but just overall in life! Im at AGASHIYE or The House of MG in Ahmedabad and just beginning to explore Ahmedabad Food. Hope you enjoy this vlog!
The bustling city of Ahmedabad in the heart of Gujarat is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and culinary delights. Among those delightful places is a unique gem in a traditional Gujarati Haveli on the rooftop. This heritage haveli is known as the House of MG which has many more restaurants, spas and other experiences one of which is Agashiye,
Agashiye, meaning 'terrace' in Gujarati and the indoors are adorned with traditional architecture & ethnic designs.
But the star of the show is the food itself representing distinct aspects of Gujarati cuisine. Their Grand meal is served in a silver plate with more than 30 different items making it the most opulent and expensive thali experience in Ahmedabad. From the hot, crunchy muthiyas to soft rotlis, patra, Kadhi, shrikhand and many more delicious flavours and textures. Another highlight of this Thali experience is the Mukhwas platter in the end with about 7 to 8 varieties of Mukhwas and a refreshing pan!
And best part is that it is an UNLIMITED Thali with some of our favourite Gujarati dishes.

Marvelous. Ma'am kindly visit the cities of Punjab also. Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Patiala are very famous for their so delicious food.❤
I am seriously not convinced, why would I pay 2000 rupees for an almost regular looking food? Just because it is served in silver plate?

The food is made for a palette that is tasting it for 1st time as well as 100th time
But there are options which are available at economical price. Try those you will know the difference.
I think this is a waste of food.(as well as time, energy, money). Nobody can eat that much and there is absolutely no need to eat that much. Did not like this.

@@thedetached6238 In the past I have regretted trying restaurants/ places based on food blogger’s opinion. This exactly sounds like one of those. Sorry , I don’t want to go there. Even their economy class is way pricier than other good restaurant’s top class Thali. This is not for me. The blogger should have seen the video for its worth before posting .

OMG being a guju I can't hold back without trying this thali. This place seemed heavenly for every guju, such a feast to cherish. OMG, shrikhand and Puri and chundo and Puri are like absolutely comfort food for every guju. Seriously I am catching the next Vande bharat to enjoy this amazing Thali. I along with sisters from the UK stayed at this fabulous hotel. The experience was with a doubt a memorable one…Nothing about this place is boxed standard!. We had the Heritage Classic Thali which was absolutely delicious. The food is clean, fresh and very tasty. The staff were gracious and made sure we were well looked after. I would highly recommend that you visit this restaurant. 10/10.

For some in comment section..been to almost all thali hotels in amdavad believe me this hits different...and yes am taking in thr whole ambience and culture..Food at Vishala is different than Rajwadu which is different from Govardhan thali and so on and so forth!! Loved the vid !🙏🏻

Instead of go to 5 stsr hotel better to go to udupi hotel type They include all misc table chair decorative rates in food only which is actually 1/3rd of rate mentioned in menu.

Since you enjoyed it that's great. But I felt thali is expensive and also roti was very whiteish in colour (like the one made of maida).
Didn't taste like maida at all..also there are 3 different pricing options available for anyone who would like to indulge

This place is for upscale people, most of the population in Ahmedabad are low grade they won't understand it..they will prefer unlimited pizza with sweet Mayo based salad..

Madam , Actually I started seeing food vlog with SugarSpice Nice India. Very few people in India can actually visit these super expensive restaurant . We are seeing the most expensive restaurants available in India through your vlog. Can we see some new food place, where too delicious food is been served and actually we can atleast try to visit food places where common people can get an opportunity to have good food at reasonable prices.

How good they were in service of food if you were not a vlogger?
Because in my personal experience and word of mouth feedback from my own people that they were too kanjoos in serving desserts and sweet dishes frequently and annoyed if you demand repeatedly in unlimited heritage Thali.
It's like elephant's teeth, different to show n different to chew.
