My brother. I've subscribed and I must ask you to teach me how to make energy blast effects. I play necrons and i want my little metal skelly boys to look like they are in combat.
Even though you wonderfully explain every step of the way while painting, i never understand how you apply your paint so smoothly and get the layers to build up so nicely! Anyway i'll go practice now, love the video's!
oo i noticed after watching it back on screen that the first couple of colours are just not that smooth! They are old paints and i'm getting the last dregs out of the bottle. I tend to use a cheap artists palette and add either water or stabiliser to the paint to thin it down ever so slightly. For example on the white artist palette that you see in the video, as you thin down the paint - as soon as you start seeing the white underneath - it's thin enough and ready to go on the mini - a little hobby tip, and i hope that it will work for you :)
Another great vid... needed this back last year when I finished my Legonorris! Love that you kept in the wonky eye in the video, makes feel better about my wonky eyes (and of course how to fix them!)
Glad you enjoyed it! I had to it made me chuckle when i saw it and thought this has to be in the video for a funny moment! haha It's a series that i would dearly like to finish as i enjoy the Fellowship set of minis so the other 2 will get their turn soon. For the next video, we shall be traveling to the horse lords!
@@SwordsandBrushes Most excellent... i just put together my Pelennor Fields box so just in time! Love the content and you've been super helpful in making my mini's presentable!
Just received few days ago the 2005 box of battle in the moria, found your video right in time. Astonishing work ! Impressive and inspiring ! Just need to start now, but with Ak interactive paint for me 😅
