- Do you want to visit Acropolis for FREE? Every first Sunday of the month from November through March admission is free for any visitor. We actually got lucky and didn't know this until we left our hotel on the way to visit the Acropolis. So it was a really nice and unexpected treat to save 40 Euros and explore this amazing historical site. Sure, it's a very touristy location with tons of people, but If you visit Athens Greece this is definitely a must-see stop on your journey.

Hmmm Stacia fact check. Humans and dinosaurs never roamed the earth together (US Geological Survey). But you were close. There was only a period of about 65 million years between the end of the dinosaurs and the appearance of any humanoid animal. hahaha

Thank you so much for making this vlog, Ryan and Stacia! I know the crowds were crazy, but everyone has to see the Acropolis during their first time to Athens. Now you can cross it off your bucket list! I was there in 2006. Fabulous time. I hope to see you guys eat a gyro before leaving Greece.

3:50 ~ Humans and dinosaurs existing at the same time. Are you sure? I always understood that dinosaurs and humans missed each other by over sixty million years. Maybe some early primates were around that later evolved into apes and eventually humans. It would be interesting to know where that information comes from. Happy to be corrected.

Hey Ryan, You're like me. About 10 years ago, I took my teenage daughter Kayla, to a My Chemical Romance concert near San Diego. My daughter just had to make her way up toward the front, close to the stage. Big mistake. Before I knew I found myself in a posh pit? I think that's what the kids call it. At that time I was 45 years old. I'm too damn old for crowds like that. I couldn't breathe, kept getting pushed around up against everybody. Told my daughter that's it! I'm going outside and I will wait for you in the car. That was about an hour wait too. In my teens, I did the crowd thing. Been to several concerts. But now, I just can't handle it. Panic mode sets in and I feel like I'm going to turn into the incredible hulk because of all the fear built up in me.
I love Greece. I hope someday to visit there myself with my wife. Gotta go! It's 12:25am. Time for me to leave work. See ya!

I was there in the early 90s. Amazing place to visit, but always super packed, especially in the Summer. You have to go into the Plaka and have coffee (cafe metrios) and a pastry. I have to take my kids there.

Tip if you get there 40 or so minutes before it opens you’ll be first 10-20 in cue by the time you finish tour and heading out then a mass of people will just be entering
Great tip! We wanted to get there a little earlier but the amazing breakfast at the Hilton always made us late 😂

We didn’t do much night life in Athens. Our hotel had a nice rooftop bar we went to often though. Just did a Q&A on Instagram last night. No wedding plans yet 😉

Wow, what a place. From what you've been experiencing in Greece to hardly anyone around to suddenly a large number of people, I'm sure you were feeling VERY crowded. I feel ya. We just visited New York, NY a couple of weekends ago before Christmas to see the tree in Rockefeller Center, and it was so crowded at one point that we couldn't even walk. We were like a bunch of sardines bunched up together standing on the street. You two are getting famous where people want their photos with you. Cool. I like the music at the end of the video. It gives me an adventuresome/peaceful feeling.
Oh yeah! NYC can get really crowded, especially in those touristy areas. That’s the main reason we try to visit the lesser traveled spots to get some peace 😂

I know exactly how Ryan feels about the huge crowds. I live in Bangkok and have been pretty much everywhere in southeast Asia. I no longer travel much because the masses are almost impossible to avoid. Travel just isn't fun anymore.
Nevertheless your photography and cinematics are exceptional as always.
The internet has ruined travel 😂 We will still be on the hunt for some lesser known, less touristy locations for upcoming travels 😊
