@@l75rd83 I have a question. I am far away from university, but if this is correct, could I do this? 1. Get the Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. 2. After I get this degree I take a dentistry program to lead to a Doctoral Degree. 3. Take the National Dental Examining Board Exam thing. 4. I can be a dentist when I get the Doctor of Dental Surgery and the Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry . Right? I don't really know. Please correct me if I am wrong
My dream job is to be a dentist. Im currently 14 and iv started to really pick up and study hard in school. When I was at my dentist I asked him what grades you need to get into dental school with and he said 4/5A's and a B, with higher and advanced highers.
I know this sounds corny/cliché, but rather than purely focusing on the numbers, zone in on really trying to perform at your best, and then try to better that each time. You've got a long road ahead of you, don't try to burn yourself out too early! Just steadily build your work ethic and you'll get there in the end! Reading your comment down below, it definitely sounds like you got the drive to make it!
You seem like a very nice person I have cerabal palsy and jumpy when dentists and hygienist work in my my mouth I’m lucky though I has a one filling only because my wisdom tooth was impacting my right molar also had orthodontist treatment braces and jaw spreader in upper and lower so now I go every six months for a check up but still battle every time I go now
@@james22939 i feel like, a big tip is that, your dentist didnt go to ds for 5 years for nothing. he knows what hes doing. he wont ever hurt u + another great tip: look at the aftermath, if youre going for scaling for ex and theyre working w your mouth, remember that, youre teeth are gonna be really pretty and healthy after this.
Hi L, I would like to be a dentist, so I need to know what career do, I studied in elementary school in 4th and 5th grade so my knowledge is limited but I hope to achieve it. Thanks, god bless you
could you make a video about scholarships and ways to pay for dental school or even undergrad? I’m starting to look into dentistry and college and dangg it’s expensive. It kinda has me spooked, and I have no clue where to even start.
gpa isn't the only factor that colleges look at, just make sure to be involved in a lot of extra-curriculars and have a good college essay to make up for it. :) (idk if this is true i'm still in high school i've just heard this often)
Thank you so much for this inspiring video! I am a high school student now at a pretty small rural school north of Seattle and I've always wanted to go to UW dental so this is really encouraging and helpful! Thank you for all the wonderful videos!
Hey I’m considering becoming a dentist I’m only in 8th grade but i was wondering Do I have to be good at maths I know you mentioned the part about taking maths classes are helpful But do you use math much And I would appreciate a honest answer because if it has a lot of maths Im changing careeer path. Ps. Love ur vids
I watched this youtuber by the name of taraj ferjuste and she did say that you'd have to do math in school but once you become a dental hygienist you wont use much or any at all
Math as in general problem solving and analytical skills. We face problems everyday in life, not just in dentistry and it’s good to efficiently analyze and find a solution.
Shauntel Wilson I’m a sophomore in high school too ! And now is the time when teachers are giving recommendations on what classes to take next years and I was stuck on which ones to take and now I know !
Hi I’ve been subscribed for a while now and am in my first year of college , i would really like to pursue my future career in dentistry and was wondering if you could make a more in debt video of what classes and maybe short cut tips while in college ?
