I personally use the google sheet while studying the words. After so many attempts, I realized that one should know the word meticulously in order to be confident during the exam. Google sheet helps me to randomize the words and take quizzes over and over again.
I actually loved the sentence part, because our brains are not created to learn something by heart. Honestly one only perils his/her brain while learning by heart. Learn the context and read a lot.
Another advice from Yash that I liked is about the consistency and methodology. If you are consistent but not you are not improving your methodology gradually, you may fall into a trap. But after scrupulously examining your "enemy" :), you can find the right methodology.

I learn over 100 words a day and keep them through repetition the other day, but it's not something you can do every day due to burnout and general stuff you got to do, so maybe if you ware unemployed and want to learn most of the vocabulary of lets say German in 10 days then go ahead but if you are learning little by little it's best to just learn around 30 a day.

jeez, I am a native English-speaking university graduate and read extensively. But many of the words you have shown are foreign to me or at least a distant memory of when I once heard or read them. Learning these abstract words is an absolute waste of time for real-world applications. I am all for education but this is a perfect example of how stupid the incredibly smart people that design our lower and higher education curriculum can be.

Kaplan's group words are great and you add to them and check Barron's book and with flashcards(magoosh) your collection would be great. You have to have your own list. With all these there is a chance to encounter new words on exam day. There is no limitation for a language.
