My mom "Loved" this song! I remember when I was a backslider and in my addiction. My mom wanted me to hear this song. She played it for me in her car and I just started crying and she was crying too. She passed away in 2014 but i thank God I was clean and sobar at the time. I did it for her & for myself. TYJ 🙌
My mom dedicated this song to when I was locked up doing 1 1/2 years when I won my case I got to go see her she passed away a few days later. This song reminds me of her praying for me. Thank God for allowing me to see her one last time. Love you mom rest in peace and know your son always is thinking of you. God bless all who read this 🙏
"Heaven" was written by guitarist Henry Garza of Los Lonely Boys at age 18 as a prayer for the loss of his infant son to sids. How heartbroken he must have been. The influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan can be heard in his playing. He makes his Fender Strat cry... beautiful, very deserving of the Grammy this song brought them. He is accompanied by his brothers. Over 20 years have past and still brings tears of sadness yet a comfort. Just how far is Heaven. It's as far as how long it takes to say "Father, forgive." Say it with a heart that means it. Put your hope and faith in Jesus. He paid the price for your salvation with His life. When it is your time to exit earth, you'll be in Heaven. Nothing better to look forward to.
This was one of my Dad's favorite bands and he would play this CD constantly, today on April 22, 2024 my father passed away. I miss him so much and wait for the time when we meet again in heaven. I love you Dad

This song is so beautiful. Back in 2004 I was a new mother, ...and my baby boy was so colicky and cried in pain from acid reflux. I was a wreck from stress, sleep deprivation, and anxiety of worrying about my new baby as I had no clue what I was doing. I would hear this song come on, and immediately I was brought to a place of peace, and love and try and think that one day my son would be a teenager.. it's 2023 and he's now 19 and still the light of my life. Thank you guys for this miraculous and beautiful soul song <3
