I've always thought German food (compared to Italian, French, Spanish etc) is a bit meh, but I did like the look of that mac & schnitzel, especially with a free dessert and drink! How much did that cost out of interest?
If you want a good Brezel, you have to go to Baden-Württemberg where they are originally from. Everywhere else in Germany (except for Bavaria, which has its own variant) they are usually not very good. An authentic Swabian Brezel has a thick, soft "belly" and crispy arms and they taste best with some butter. Also your Brezel has way too much salt on it. Most people even rub the salt off before eating. And for any Americans here: We DO NOT eat Brezeln (pretzels) with mustard!
You ate at one Mustafas Gemüsekebap, but not "The" Mustafas gemüsekebap, which is in a small kiosk in Kreuzberg, Honestly, yours was probably as good as the real Mustafas Kebap is 99% hype anyways ;)
What the heck do you name "local german food"??? The only german thing you are is Currywurst, which isn't even a local thing at all. You just ate some non-german hipster food there and a Pretzel from a food chain instead of a good bakery 😑

I'll be honest it is quite basic compared to other European cuisines, it was about 8/9 euros I think?

I didn't know that, thank you for the heads up! I did think it was way too salty

I actually did see this Kiosk later in my trip, but the queue was incredibly long!
