- This week, Kyle lets out his inner kaiju as he sits down with monster expert Dr. Emily Zarka, creator and host of MONSTRUM on PBS’ Storied channel. Wait, what am I watching again..!?!?? Automatically clicked because Dr. Z thinking it's Monstrum LOLLL 😂
Wow, two of my favorite channels! Thank you.
I'm familiar with the three Mothra films you mentioned, and I know I've seen at least one; but I don't recall how or where. (Been watching Kaiju films since the 60's.)
And you mentioned "MechaGodzilla"; but are you familiar with Mechani-Kong, created by Dr. Who (not the one with a blue box)? He's in the Ishirô Honda film "King Kong Escapes" (1967).
As always, and again, thank you all so very much for the videos.
My favorite Dracula has yet to appear on film (that I know), but it's the one from Fred Saberhagen's novels. Starting with "The Dracula Tape" (1975).
Excellent conversation.
How would the Death Star travel through Hyperspace without breaking apart or disrupting enitre solar systems due to gravitational pull since it's the size of a moon? Would love to hear moving a moon sized object at lightspeed is scientifically possible :D
Dr Z!!! Making a guest(?) appearance on the channel. Don't tell me you're leaving Monstrum?
Nope!-Dr. Z
Good interview, but they were tripping over themselves to say the 'right' words only to run into another landmine
