Disney 100 Begins at EPCOT! NEW Food, Character Outfits, Soarin' Over California is Back & More

- Disney's 100th anniversary celebration has arrived at Walt Disney World, and we're kicking off the first day of the celebration and bringing you along to see what's new! We see Mickey & Minnie Mouse in their new, platinum 100th anniversary outfits, check out the wait times on the new Figment Meet & Greet, ride the newly returned Soarin' Over California, which has replaced Soarin' Around the World for a limited time, and try brand new Food & Wine Festival booths that celebrate Disney 100 - all with huge crowds in the park! We try the new EPCOT Food & Wine Festival 2023 food booths - Bubbles & Brine, Wine & Wedge, Char & Chop, and learn about the delay of Swirled Showcase! All of these new booths are decorated for Disney's 100th celebration. Lots of delicious food and drinks, beautifully shimmering platinum decor all over the park, to celebrate Disney's 100 Years of Wonder, and it's just the beginning. hope you enjoy checking it out with me! The Journey Into Your Imagination restrooms are my FAVORITE!! I am a sucker for Old School EPCOT Center (especially the music) so I love it. I also love the music in the Soarin’ queue and will gladly spend an hour listening. My pet peeve is when people talk over the soundtrack of the queue 😂😂🫣
Petition to have the older epcot entrance music come back! the new music is royalty free music that can be found online

Thank you for showing everything in such an easy going way, and for having a sense of humor. So many vloggers have gotten hard to watch because of how forced they are, but you keep it natural and always enjoyable to watch. Melts my stress away and gets us excited for our next trip to the magic!
It’s cool that Soarin’ Over California came to Epcot!! It’s been at Disneyland during Spring both this year and last spring in 2022!!

I don't know how it never registered that the Disney100 Celebration had yet to begin in WDW! Too much back and forth between California and Florida, I guess 😂 I'm kind of excited to hear that Orlando will have a whole year of celebrating yet to come, though; especially since we've mostly missed the Disney100 Celebration in Disneyland. I'm glad to see that Floridians are getting another chance to experience Soarin' Over California. I am, however, in the camp that DCA should have Soarin' Over California year-round and EPCOT should have Soarin' Around the World year-round. Thematically, it just makes sense, and it also gives people a reason to travel and experience new things on opposite coasts! 🍊 Bunson, Beaker and Mr. Toad on the 'Wallcot' map are EVERYTHING. I'm so glad they're keeping the statues, too! We love to see and interact with them! ✨ Hope you have had a wonderful family staycation, Jackie! Thanks for sharing, as always!

I like that Mr. Toad was over by Test Track. Good choice, fast moving vehicles are up his alley.
A few years ago it seems like Epcot was never really busy. It’s so good to see it busy! A good problem for a park to have. I love you’re reporting it’s very good.

The Mural looks so beautiful looking at the map of Epcot and how they painted all the characters on the mural and the guests is really lovely 🥰I just wish I had the money and time to Visit Walt Disney World as it costs a lot of money to Travel from the Uk 🇬🇧 to USA 🇺🇸 by plane ✈️

Were at EPCOT in 1983. My husband and I need to make a date to see it again. CA is one of the best states even with all the bad stuff everyone keeps up with. Am sure that all guys wish they all could have a Native CA girl, Santa Monica style.

That mural was great .. I have always had a soft spot for Pluto, and Winnie the Poo.
The food looked delicious, and wow that shrimp didn't look too shrimpy (small). That was the biggest shrimp I have ever seen. Also I know you couldn't resist the beverages.

Decor is cool , the mural is amazing, the Character 100th outfits are great awesome 😊 Love Character meet and greets, after all its the characters that started it all with Walt😊 The Soarin ride looks awesome. Hi Jackie that was a really lovely Disney Epcot Trip ☁️💜✨ I really love the new Soren over California,, it’s really fun seeing all the places in California USA 🧸🇺🇸 like the golden Gate bridge 🌉 LA 🌃 Lake Tao 🏔 Bit or Northern Cal 🏡🏔and a bit of Southern California too and final Disneyland in California that’s really special with the fireworks 🎆🏰

Figures the 100th Anniversary started as soon as I left lol. I had a rainy night at Epcot on September 15th.
Where I got stuck by Figment due to heavy rain and no poncho.
So I rode Figment 4 times until the park closed 😂.
I'm still watching this but I like to say another great video my friend.

This may seem like a stupid question but I'm travelling to Orlando in a couple of weeks and I'm curious if Disney and Universal still accept cash or if they are card payment only?
Most places will still accept cash, but some might not. Lots of places use mobile checkout now, from restaurants to shops, so you might want to make sure you have Universal and Disney apps downloaded and attach a credit card to make things easier for you. If you have some kind of travel card, it will make your life much easier.
