Egyptian here! I can't believe I witnessed one of my favorite streamers using and showcasing modded Windows installations, live. Those types of mods exist, mainly because people want a Windows installation with built-in essential programs to use, rather than installing them by themselves. They are *mainly* free and are in software sites & forums. This was a trend in Arabian countries (especially Egypt) for a long while. I think I may have used one of the ones showcased, in the past (I think a variant of Gold Windows XP). I used plenty of them from when I had my first PC, until Windows XP ended its extended support.

That Arabic Avengers OS reminded me of the (RUclips made me censor this to comment) H*zb*ll*h developed "Special Force" games using the Far Cry 1 engine. It was apparently quite popular in internet cafes in Lebanon, sort of filling the role of Counter-Strike. Derek Caelin on YT has a documentary/playthrough of the single player. I love Arab-speaking world bootlegs, they have such a unique character to them. Interesting story with that game, when they were selling it on the street, they brought out scraps of a few tanks they destroyed IRL in the battles you re-enact in game, cool marketing tactic.

Windows 9 is very cursed because the version of windows 8 its based off is specifically designed for cash machines, atms, fridges, that kind of stuff.
